Had an early morning meet up with a friend and her baby. Our server, Sarah, was excellent. We had asked for a baby seat and the staff were on top of it. Food was really good and well priced. Was pleasantly surprised to find a good and affordable breakfast place. Thank you for making an outing with a friend such a great experience!

I’ve been here a few times for their fabulous desserts, so I decided to try their lunch menu. Since it was a cold day, the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The decor is homey and inviting, modern with a Mediterranean flair, and the leather-style bench seating is comfy. I started with the side Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, cold and a good size. For my main, I went with the Chicken Parmesan - it was titanic. The massive piece of breaded chicken was topped with ooey gooey melted mozzarella and paired with an enormous portion of fettuccine in a rich, savoury meat sauce. It included a funky piece of tasty, angular garlic bread. It took me quite a long time to demolish it. After the main course demo, I had the Fudge Brownie cheesecake for dessert: cool, smooth, sweet, dreamy, creamy texture, and a lovely chocolate sauce drizzle. I can see why it's one of their signature desserts. It paired well with coffee. The service from Dorsa was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back. My only suggestion to the manager is to fix the front door which is not hinged properly and keeps closing with a loud bang. P.S. Don’t forget that from December 14, 2024, to February 15, 2025, restaurants won’t charge the 13% HST, so take advantage while you can!

Quiet on weekday mornings but busy on weekends. Nice decoration inside, very traditional style restaurant! Was a little bit disappointed about the breakfast we had there. We might prefer Stacked or Cora instead as per the food quality and value. The poached eggs were too sour. The sliced tomatoes and avocado seemed to be not fresh. The omelette was okay though. The coffee could be improved for sure!

"Symposium Cafe Restaurant Thornhill" is my go-to spot! Every time I visit, my experience gets even better. The food is consistently delicious, from appetizers to desserts. The service is top-notch — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. And the ambiance? Perfect! It’s got a vibrant yet relaxed vibe that’s ideal whether you’re out for a casual meal or a special occasion. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

Massive menu with weekend brunch, cocktails for a reasonable price, attentive friendly service! I had the chicken, Caesar wrap and sweet potato fries (upgrade) and my mum had fish and chips but opted for onion rings instead. The place was completely packed when we arrived just after 1 PM on a Saturday- we were shown to a table and chairs that had seen better days but still very comfortable. There are a lot of booths. Interior is kept clean but could use some love. Blow up images of Renaissance art. Very family, friendly and decent portions. It is on the loud side when busy. There is a patio out front overlooking the parking lot and Yonge Street. Our server was wonderful. Would return.

Dinner with the family was a hit! The fish and chips were crispy perfection, the kids' burger was juicy and flavorful, and the sundae was a sweet treat. But what truly made our evening shine was Rovina's exceptional service! She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was top-notch. Will definitely come again!!

Second time going there with friends and for sure it does not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and polite. My friend and I spent a couple of hours there for brunch. This is how much welcoming the atmosphere is. Will ho there again.

It offers a decent brunch experience at a fair price. Our waiter was great and provided attentive service, though overall service was just okay. The food was acceptable but nothing particularly special, making it a rather mediocre dining experience. If you’re looking for a convenient brunch spot, it’s adequate, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.
