If you only take one recommendation from me, make this one it! You gotta visit this Thai spot that has 10K square feet of market, restaurant, and spa (opening in March). The food was delicious, presentation was amazing, and the service was so dedicated and sweet. I heard them making recommendations for so many customers ❤️ Here is what we tried: (*=recommend) - Thai street platter:* Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls, Butterfly coconut shrimp, Thai street style crispy wings, Som Tum papaya salad, Beef short rib - Seafood Tom Yum Pot - Pla lui suan (grilled fish) - Soft shell crab curry * - Miang Kham (the fresh wrap platter) - Smoked Gai Yang (smoked chicken)* - Pineapple Fried Rice - Mango sticky rice* - Thai milk tea bear and mango bear* Make this your next spot! They have a private room too if you want to host a gathering there 😊 Please note they have two locations and this is the Yonge Street one ❤️

Beautiful new location, on Yonge street, also on the subway line. Revamped/ extended menu compared to the Bayview location. Went 2 days in a row, including opening weekend. Everything was very tasty, as good as the other location, if not better! Got some standards - pad thai, green curry chicken, and mango salad, and tried the pork belly recommended by the server. It's her favourite dish and now our new fav. The appetizer platter was on special - we got it free on the opening weekend and half price when we returned on a weekday. The teddy bear Thai ice tea was cute. And tasty. Oh, and don't forget the dessert platter with mango slices and sticky rice. Beautiful presentation. Friendly staff.

The most impressive Thai food I’ve had in the GTA! They have so many unique platters and shareables - it’s the perfect spot for family and groups to discover new dishes and flavours! Don’t forget to browse the Thai market - I loved their unique ice cream bar flavours and candies!

Pii Nong Thai Eatery is a hidden gem for authentic Thai cuisine lovers. From the moment you walk in, the warm and cozy ambiance immediately sets the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to offer great recommendations if you're unsure of what to order. Now, let's talk about the food – simply incredible! Dishes to Try: The fried rice with grilled fish was fragrant and full of flavor. The fish was grilled to perfection – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The accompanying sauce had a delightful balance of sweet, sour, and spicy that paired beautifully with the dish. The sampler platter was another highlight. It featured crispy spring rolls, tender marinated beef, and golden fried chicken wings topped with fried garlic. The papaya salad on the side added a refreshing and tangy contrast that rounded out the meal perfectly. Portion sizes were generous, making it great for sharing. Every bite showcased the authenticity and care put into the preparation. The flavors transported me straight to Thailand. Overall Impression: Pii Nong Thai Eatery stands out not only for its delicious food but also for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. Whether you're in for a quick lunch or a full dinner, this is a place worth visiting. Highly recommend it to anyone craving real Thai food in a vibrant, casual setting. Would I return? Absolutely – and I’ll be bringing friends next time!

This place is awesome. I live in the area and there was never really great Thai restaurants close by (Pai is overrated) so I'm so glad they just opened near Yonge and Lawrence. Hospitality was top notch from the servers to the managers everyone was so friendly and helpful even though they are busy (I think it'll get even busier as they get more popular) The food is 1) absolutely stunning, all photogenic and well presented 2) flavours are incredible and tastes very authentic There's lots of items that are great for sharing. I recommend the street platter, tom yum soup, curry crab and durian roti Parking is easy, there's some parking in the residential streets too. Highly recommend

Came for the soft opening and was impressed by the food. We ordered quite a few items to share and loved all of it. Sadly missed out on a few items since they were sold out/ not available during soft opening but will definitely come back. Service was also great! Thanks Tom for the convo, my family and I will definitely be back.

Always been a fan of the Bayview Pii Nong but this new location takes everything to a whole new level With an amazing Thai market and new menu items ! This is the best Thai restaurant in the city ! The curry crab here is amazing ! Pretty close to the Saigon Star Curry crab which is obviously the benchmark ! Overall great value for the portions and love the service here ! Will be back for more !

What a beautiful and fantastic new Thai spot on Yonge St! And it’s not just a restaurant, the mini market selling authentic snacks and merch from Thailand is a really nice touch As a seafood lover I am super happy to say they nailed the cook on the seafood boil platter. The curries here are so flavourful and go so well with some Thai milk tea (it’s even got a cute Thai tea bear) Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu
