The best dining experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. Every dish was perfectly crafted, bursting with flavor, and made with the freshest ingredients. The ambiance was just right—cozy yet classy—and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear that the team here takes immense pride in what they do. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want an amazing meal, this place is a must. We came here to celebrate 2 birthdays. We came in a group of 7 and we made reservations for 6:30pm. If you plan on coming to this location, you have to keep in mind that this is probably the only location for the heart of downtown Toronto, so it gets busy and you will have to wait to be seated despite making reservations for a specific time. The food was good, the service was great and the overall atmosphere was what you'd expect from a buffet 😆. Definitely worth a visit, and a heads up if you're celebrating a birthday, it's free if you sign up for the birthday coupon online ahead of time and if you're in a group of min 3 people. Definitely would come back for another special occasion 🥳🎂

We celebrated a birthday at Mandarin Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience! They activated a coupon for us, so the birthday person enjoyed a free meal along with a cute cupcake and candle—such a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and encouraged us to enjoy as much as we liked without hesitation. Myles, the managing partner, even stopped by to chat, adding a personal touch to our visit. The menu was nearly the same as last year but still just as delicious—definitely left satisfied! I also love their tradition of fortune cookies and candies as you leave. Overall, a great place for celebrations and good food!

Great service. The entire staff was very friendly. The food was nice and fresh and the kept refilling every few mins. Lots of variety. Not a lot of variety for vegetarian folks as the soups still had chicken broths. Very happy it was marked with a chicken 🐔. A great dining experience overall. We had a friend's birthday and because we were 4 people she got her meal for free. Well done team Mandarin.

This place has been around for 45 years and I’ve been going since I was little. Food is good. Service is excellent and I wouldn't recommend any of the other Chinese buffets in the GTA. One of my kids will be going to sleepover camp for 2 months and we let her pick any restaurant for her last city meal. She picked Mandarin without hesitation. The only thing to complain about is how full we are. Sincerely hope it sticks around another 45 more years. The experience will probably be just as great. Hi Paddy!
