Great spot for an affordable lunch. The portion is great and the meal comes with soup. If you order duck it'll be slightly more expensive than the regular items.

How can you go wrong for $5? Located inside the cafeteria, for just $5 cash you can get a meat, rice, veggies, and a soup. We sat for about 10-15 minutes to eat right next to the store and it had a constant lineup of people. Being across from Yee Hong, a lot of seniors seemed to be coming to eat here. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me!

So this is truly a hidden gem in Scarborough mainly because of the $5 BBQ meat deal! You have a choice of BBQ pork or roast pork with rice and some green veggies. You also get a soup which is more like a plain broth. This visit I got BBQ pork and it was delicious as always though it was a bit fatty. The counter service was fast for lunch time and there's always a bit of a line up. I don't really like the broth soup but always love getting the green veggies. Ambiance was good as usual and got a table nearby. One of the cooks came by with a trolley cart full of BBQ duck and I was in heaven since I love BBQ duck especially the look of the golden crispy skin! I make a special trip to this place every few months!

$5 for rice and 1 meat (except duck) and a small container of soup. Food tastes okay. Lady at the counter is friendly and works quick. Nothing really negative to say but the price is definitely the biggest reason to come here.

A great little spot for Chinese BBQ in a plaza with several other Chinese BBQ shops. It's good for no frills good food at low prices. You can get meat and rice combos for around $6.50 a box. They roast all their meats in-house so you know it'll always be fresh. Had a little miscommunications issues with the butcher where I asked for roast pork belly and he gave me thigh instead but the Canadian in me prevented me from speaking up and deserved to get what I got. All in all, it was still delicious and I would come back.

If you want to save time to cook and/or sick with the same takeout dinner set, ordered half Roasted Duck and 2 ribs of Roasted BBQ Pork belly for takeout maybe a choice. Overall, I like roasted pork, which is less salty and especially on top-notch, not overwhelming with mouthful BBQ sauce. Roasted duck is tasty and yummy, but pricey for half size.

The shop is still opened during lockdown. The roasted pork and roasted duck were really good. The service was great! The queue moved quickly and the cashier was really friendly. The price and quality of the food did not disappoint me at all. I will definitely go back again.
