RUBY and ANU provided excellent table service. Dear manager, please consider commending these two great servers as they are excellent exemplars of table waiters. This is how I want to be served every time I visit any restaurant. Worth mentioning this because this kind of service is hard to find these days. Ruby and Anu were extremely prompt, courteous, and attentive. This was 5 star service. This is one of the greatest SB restaurants in the world. Dining ambiance is super chill and pleasant, food is great Great place to be introduced to south Indian vegetarian food. Dosas, vadais in sambar or yoghurt are great dishes to try out first. The madras coffee here is bomb.

Great food as always. Rubi our server got our order on time. Ordered cheese dosa, paper masala dosa not oily at all, but we felt it was a bit dry. For cheese dosa, I felt the cheese was less. Also, I have ordered idly and vada combo. I was taken aback with the size of vada. They have shrink the size. The idly size is good. Overall it’s a 50-50 feedback.

There are some accessibility and facility issues that need attention: Entrance: There is no automatic door, which makes it challenging for families with kids or seniors to enter. Even when staff noticed us struggling, they didn’t offer to assist with the door. Restroom: The restroom is very small and lacks a diaper-changing station, which is inconvenient for families with babies. Baby Chair: The baby chair provided had broken straps, which felt unsafe. Food: Vegetable Biryani: Too spicy for our taste. Idly: Was decent, soft, and enjoyable. Puri: Was overly oily, which was disappointing. Overall, while the food was mixed, the lack of basic facilities and assistance made our experience less enjoyable. Improvements in these areas could enhance the dining experience for families.

The food always hits the spot! The dosas were so crispy and yummy, and the kothu parotta was delicious. Our server- Ruby, was very friendly and quick with the service. She made sure all our needs were met! I definitely recommend this spot if you wanna try authentic South Indian food, or you miss home :)

Since a long time we were craving to have good dosa and sambar. Yesterday we finally made a firm plan and decided to go to Sarvanaa Bhawan. There are quite a few options in Toronto and Scarborough but we went ahead with SB as we have been to their restaurants in India and the Middle East felt it to be a safe option. What we ordered - As per our plan, we ordered their dosa and medhu vada. Both dishes were absolutely delightful—served fresh, crispy, and full of authentic flavors. The dosa had the perfect texture, and the medhu vada was light, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the accompanying chutneys and sambar. On recommendation from the staff we ordered Chettinadu Kara Masala Dosa, if you love extra spicy then got for it. We also ordered Mysore Masala Dosa which was great. Other dosa that we tried, but you can give a pass, is Cheese masala dosa. Service and ambience - The restaurant’s environment was warm and welcoming, creating a comfortable space to enjoy the meal. The service was excellent—the staff was attentive, polite, and ensured every aspect of our dining experience was pleasant. However, the filter coffee could have been better. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite meet the high expectations set by the rest of the meal. Overall, I highly recommend Sarvanaa Bhawan for anyone craving delicious South Indian cuisine. It’s a perfect spot for casual dining and family outings.

The ambience and service were great!! We loved the paper ghee dosa, Masala dosa and Rava Dosa. Puri could have been better. Their red and white coconut chutney tasted excellent. But the tomato thokku was just a normal side dish. It could have been improvised in a different manner. Sambar Vada tasted fantastic. Curd Vada was little hard and not soaked enough.

First time here with my friend who is a regular. The food dishes he suggested were tasty and very filling. Ruby, our server was friendly and provided great timely service. Food and drinks were yummy and I would definitely return next time to try other dishes.

Such a great authentic South Indian restaurant!! I have heard a lot and that word of mouth recommendations made me visit here and I didn’t regret it. The ambiance is clear and chic with great food as well service. Prices are genuine too. I worth visiting place for South Indian food lovers.
