Food was really not up to the expectation.. None of the food had a good amount of salt after asking salt for so many time they gave salt.. And that kizhi parotta which we ordered was not cooked properly.. that was not made with regular parotta, and it was so thick, and We were able to see uncooked maida for that parotta.. Nallampatti chicken was worst of worst, which was just a kolambu chicken, which topped with tadka and more oil ! And please don't order that mutton kola urundai.. The poricha parotta and gravy we ordered were good.. Curry dosa tasted well, and it was quite good quantity!

We loved the food, we came here with a high expectation and must say it was just the way I had expected. Pre booking the space is much required, it is very busy and it will be hard to find spot without booking. Not much variety for veg lovers but for non veg lovers please visit this place.

I ordered Mutton Biryani, I like it 👍 it's freshly made, tasty and Meat was tender. I am giving it 8/10 because It was very spicy and the egg was overcooked. Customer service are very nice and helpful. I will come back definitely.

I had high expectations but ended up quite disappointed with the experience. I booked a table for two at 1:00 PM today and arrived a bit early, around 12:55. Unfortunately, our table wasn’t ready, and we were told to wait 10-20 minutes and that we’d receive a call when it was available. We decided to wait in the car as there were no waiting area. No call came, and after checking in with the staff at 1:20, we were still without a table. Despite having a reservation, we noticed others without reservations being seated as soon as tables opened up, which left us confused and frustrated as there was no hostess managing the seating. When we finally got seated at 1:36, there was another long wait for food, which didn’t arrive until 1:48. The water bottle on our table was dirty, and the servers seemed scattered and forgetful, not coordinated at all. While the food itself was flavorful—though a bit too much food coloring in the Chicken 65 and too much oil on everything—the overall experience was marred by the poor service and unmentioned wait times, making it hard to fully enjoy the meal. Would recommend it for the food if you’re in no rush, but service and seating arrangements definitely need improvement.

We had a fantastic family outing at the weekend buffet, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I loved how they served the food directly on banana leaves, adding a special touch to the meal. Our server was exceptional, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Chettinadu is one of a cuisine from the down south India. Which has a way back of many years , this restaurant gave the exact way it is supposed to to be hats off to the chef out there. So was the service the waitress were polite, very kind , attentive over all kudos to the entire team we would definitely come back. Will suggest to many.

Great little spot in Scarborough for authentic South Indian experience. Service was great. Space was very tight and limited. Only one high chair available…so leave your other child at home. I would definitely return.
