Glass Kitchen

I decided to try The Glass Kitchen last month and thought the decor was quite nice especially the floor to ceiling windows which provided a lot of natural light. The presentation of the food also did not disappoint, as every dish was beautifully plated. However, while the visual appeal was on point, the flavor didn’t quite match up. The food itself was decent but lacked that "wow" factor that would have made the experience more memorable. For drinks, I had the KP cold pressed juice, which was refreshing and tasty. I walked in on a weekday afternoon and was seated right away. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking is plentiful in the plaza, though it can be a challenge to find a spot during peak hours.

We had brunch here. So delicious! Highly recommend the Baked Alaska! Service is nice too👍 I’ll try their risotto (dinner menu) next time!

The customer service and food was excellent! We ordered the Korean galbi poutine and the other dish with steak I forget the name but the steak was so tender it literally melts in your mouth!! The atmosphere is very nice and we will definitely be coming back to try out their brunch and fun drinks!

Great service. A bit noisy inside, and seating wasn't super comfy either (chairs were too deep, couches were a bit stiff). Food overall was decent, could be a bit cheaper for it's portions. Some of the food was quite good, others were a bit below average

Service was great at table side. No host at door. Stood there for a while then decided to walk in and find staff. They have been open a year and still have issues with getting a liquor license. No wine, no cocktails. Food was good. Enjoyed the twist on classic dishes.

We made reservations in the earliest we can get in there was 1:45 PM. However we arrived in the area around 130 and we were able to get seated. When we walked in we were greeted from a very nice hostess. Very beautiful environment, sophisticated decorations, and the staff were all very informative and pleasant. Presentation of the food was perfect and the flavour pallets worked together. I got the seafood scramble and I shared it. We ran out of bread and they were ordered some and brought it promptly to the table which I thought was amazing cheeseburger empanadas made to order, and I love that they took the time to explain the best way to consume. The only thing that would top off this meal would’ve been a mimosa. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.

Best place for brunch in the Markham area, free parking available but scarce. A good selection of unique brunch dishes for all (meat/vegan/healthy). They also have pressed juice! Only feedback is they need to fix the air conditioning as it gets pretty warm on a hot summers day. Loved everything we ordered, will definitely be back and would recommend to all foodies!

The portions are pretty small vs its menu prices, every customers are definitely paying for its presentation and its atmosphere as well. The service was so so, and hard to even get someone to order your foods. I know, Sometimes it happens, typically when the house is full. But it took quite a bit of a wait (>25 mins of wait) for us to get our first mains after we placed orders. Not sure if I’ll come back again, nevertheless, we have topped up our patients and with our tips. I can't tell whether every single dish was made with high quality ingredients or not, but i could speak for myself "Nothing extraordinary and memorable". In fact, few dishes were marinated overpowering and salty. The Hokkaido Scallop Risotto dish was disappointed me - the scallops are medium size and not really juicy and overcooked. The other dishes were just bland. Sometime when you held your in-depth high expectations ( based on so many social media hype reviews ) with any restaurant is a kill, luckily nothing memorable here.. I move on...
