If you're looking for one of the best Indian restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area, this place is an absolute must-try! They are just a month old, but from start to finish, the experience was incredible. We went with a bunch of kids who, of course, can be a little noisy, but the owner was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. To our delight, he even offered the kids some delicious Osmania biscuits—such a thoughtful touch! We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Special Chicken Biryani was bursting with flavors, perfectly spiced and aromatic—definitely one of the best I’ve had. The Marag was rich, tender, and had a lovely depth of flavor that left us wanting more. The Rumali Roti was soft and light, complementing the dishes perfectly. The Chicken 65 was crispy and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. As for the Chicken Lollipop, it was a bit different from what we expected. It was more of the Chinese-style variety, coated in a sauce, while we were hoping for the dry version typically served in Hyderabad. Still, it was tasty but not quite what we envisioned. To finish off, we had the Irani Chai, which was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. But the real highlight of the evening? The Apricot Delight dessert. It was, without a doubt, the best dessert experience we’ve had in a while! Light, refreshing, and absolutely decadent—this is a must-try if you're there. It’s clear that the chefs here take pride in their craft, and I even wanted to meet the biryani chef to compliment him on the fantastic dish, but unfortunately, he was busy working his magic in the kitchen. 😊 Overall, a phenomenal experience with great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this gem! 5/5.

Newly open Hyderabad Biryani Indian restaurant. Beautiful restaurant with tasty Hyderabad biryani dishes. Of course we have to try the most expensive dish on the menu - Special Chicken Dum Biryani ($29.99). The Dum Ka Murgh was spicy and garlic naan were great too. All chicken is so tender the meat just fall off the bones. The house special drink was a creative blend.

Fursat is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to. The ambiance, service, and food are top-notch - Kirtana was lovely. Must try items - Marag soup, Paya soup, and Patthar ka Gosht. The flavors of these 3 things are absolutely divine! The other things we tried were Dum ka Murg, which, contrary to its tomato base, was spicy- loved it! The Garlic naan, unlike other places, was super thin, light, and flavorful. Irani chai and Qubani ka Meetha were alright. The only thing Fursat might want to do is increase the quantity a bit. Rest all is amazing! Would definitely go back!! 😊

Fursat offers an authentic taste of Hyderabadi cuisine, making it an ideal venue for parties with its spacious party hall, perfect for celebrations or intimate dinner dates. Every dish on the menu is a delightful experience, crafted with unique spices that reflect the true essence of traditional Hyderabadi flavors. Having sampled various items, I can confidently say that whether it’s soups, starters, mains, or desserts, each selection is equally impressive and satisfying. Additionally, they have recently opened a café adjacent to the restaurant, where you can indulge in their famous Irani chai and a variety of delicious snacks, including puffs, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

If you're in search of a truly authentic Indian dining experience, this restaurant is a standout. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere exudes warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal. The staff is attentive and genuinely committed to providing excellent service, always eager to explain the nuances of the dishes and offer recommendations based on your preferences. The menu is a delightful journey through India's rich culinary traditions of Hyderabad, featuring a wide array of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Each dish is prepared with the finest ingredients, and the flavors are bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The chicken 65 dish and Biriyani particularly noteworthy—succulent with a perfect rich finish—and the curries are rich and flavorful, with a depth of spice that’s just right, never overwhelming. The naan is soft and fresh, a perfect accompaniment to the meals. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the consistency of both food quality and service. If you're craving traditional Indian flavors, this restaurant delivers on all fronts—great food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Big Thanks to Raj (owner) and Guneeth (server) for everything!

I visited Fursat yesterday and had a mix of experiences. The tea and apricot delight were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the soft naans. However, I found the Chicken 65 had a strong flavor that I didn't like much, and the tandoori roti wasn't for me either. The chicken biryani felt more like rice with chicken and masala , missing the dum biryani flavor I expected and felt the quantity for dum ka murg felt less the curry was okayish! On the bright side, the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and Francy provided great service. Overall, it was a memorable visit with both good and not-so-good dishes!

This newly opened restaurant in Scarborough is a great option for family dining as well as for date nights. The ambience is very pleasing and so is the service. The nostalgic flavours take you back home. Not a lot of places in Scarborough offer a full bar service. Beer and biryani has become our new favourite combo. This place is a must visit.
