We visited the restaurent on 18th of december 2024 around 6.30 pmwe were a group of 7 peoples . After taking a look on the menu we tried to order dishes and most of the dishes were already finished. Items ordered Neypathal porotta chicken alfaham malabar chicken curry beef puffs The food was nor at all good especially the chicken curry we orderedThe spices was not even cooked we were loke eating raw chilly powder in water. i personally believe the curry was finished and they added more water and chilly powder. All of us got stomach upset and ended up in consulting a doctor. Very bad experience

have had food from Cafe Tea Talks a few times, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The food tastes delicious and brings back nostalgic memories of home. The Naypathal and beef curry were absolutely amazing – full of flavor and cooked to perfection. It reminded me of the authentic taste of food from Kannur, something that is hard to find elsewhere. The ghee rice and Appam mix were also really good. The soft, fluffy appams paired perfectly with the curries, and the ghee rice was rich and aromatic. The cafe itself has a nice and cozy ambience, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive. They made sure everything was served on time and with a smile. If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic Kerala flavors and feel a sense of nostalgia, I highly recommend Cafe Tea Talks. It’s a great spot for delicious food, good vibes, and excellent service. Definitely worth visiting!

Really nice place! Cute and cozy atmosphere — it felt so good to come here after a movie with a friend! The service was excellent; the girl at the cashier was so polite and friendly. She also gave suggestions since it was my first time trying Karelian cuisine. I tried the dancing tea and fried banana and liked them a lot!

Review: ⭐ I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We were a group of 5 and ordered Beef Pathapichath and Beef Pallikkari, but both dishes were insanely spicy to the point that they were completely inedible. The extreme spice masked any actual flavor, leaving the food with zero taste. To make matters worse, the restaurant was very poorly organized, with long wait times and chaotic service. I now have stomach issues, likely from the overpowering spices used. It seems like they are struggling to manage orders and maintain quality, probably because they are new, but that’s no excuse for such a disappointing experience. Would not recommend!

If you're looking for a place where exceptional flavors meet culinary tradition, this restaurant is a must-visit. The Kerala chai and snacks is an absolute standout—rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. It’s the kind of cup that warms you from the inside out, with a balance of sweetness and bold, warming spices that make each sip a comfort. But the true highlight is the beef biryani. This dish is a masterclass in flavor—tender, juicy beef cooked to perfection. Paired with the chai, it’s an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend!

The biryani, made with fragrant Kaima rice, was the highlight—perfectly spiced and paired with fresh raita and pickle.
