The food is very spicy, I got medium spice as they all come in medium spice, and it’s very hot. The chicken is horrible. The spaghetti is great but spicy. I would not recommend unless you’re familiar with Nigerian food.

The food is absolutely delicious! It literally reminds me of home! Such a comforting place to eat at! I come at least once a month when I want to be reminded of home. And great prices too. The staff is so friendly and I just can’t get enough of how great this place is!

Dropped in after seeing the place while walking by. I had never had Nigerian food before but thought I would give it a try. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was quick. Portion size was good. Food was delicious, some spice but not too hot. Would definitely visit again.

I ordered the Egusi soup and it came with poundo. It was delicious. I have never tried an African dish before so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I would say this place is a 10/10. The staff is super friendly and I love how the food is prepared fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try the Goat pepper soup. Also that poundo was everything I dreamt it would be.

Authentic Nigerian flavors at their best! The jollof rice was perfectly spiced, The portions were generous, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Nigerian cuisine!

Afroheat Safari should be the next place you try if you are craving flavor! This store is run by someone who loves what they do and it shows in their food. I ordered Jollof Rice with Plantain and Coleslaw. What I received was a very generous portion of rice, freshly fried plantain smothered in the most delicious sauce as well as a side of coleslaw. The meal was satisfying and left me wanting for nothing else. I could eat this food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and be happy. When I returned the next day for more I was greeted with the owner's story from back home. It was so refreshing to be able to converse with the person who had just cooked me a delicious meal. It made me feel warm, welcome and at home. I will be returning as soon as possible. Please consider stopping by the next time you are in Downtown Hamilton. You won't regret it.
