Nice new restaurant in Pickering. Delicious food. Had Lahori fish, Balochi Karahi and Naan. Excellent taste and value for money. Wish they had larger space for dine in.

Glad to have start the new year at Zohan's Grills. This restaurant opened a couple of weeks back and is a gem in the Durham region bringing authentic food from the streets of Karachi. I came back just now and couldn't hold back to put up a review. We only went here to grab late night bite but ended having dinner. We ordered the following: Chicken Balochi Karahi. Not sure if any restaurant in GTA offers Balochi Karahi so when I saw this on their menu, we had to give it a try. It was mind blowing. Took me straight to the highway restaurants in Karachi. 10/10 Veal Biryani. They don't serve biryani on weekdays but since they had a catering.My other biryani favorites are Dera and Chachu but both are in Mississauga. After STB in courtice and Karachi Chatkhara, Zohan in Ajax is now my favourite biryani place in Durham. 9/10 Beef Gola Kabab. This was star of the show. As soon as I took the first bite, I turned around and asked the server to get us another plate. It was extremely flavourful, tender and juicy. Can't forget the in-house chutneys that came with the kabab. This gola kabab can easily get on the podium at Burns Road Karachi. We ended the day with mango delight and ras malai. Both are made in-house so we gave it a try. Not a dessert guy but both were reasonably good. This place is a must try. Only disappoint ment is that there is not enough sitting place..
