Nice “American” tapas restaurant with a rustic but upscale feel! The bits and bites part of the menu is where it is at. Just order a bunch from there to share! Especially the Brie dish, and the cauliflower. Sliders were also delish. Paired everything with a white wine as recommended by the waiter. Was really nice! Risotto was a bit plain. Margarita pizza was good, but order something else. Philly truffle cheese steak was 7/10. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding. It was too sweet and the pudding was stodgy. Maybe try something else. Large portion, fit for two people. Need a reservation. Especially for weekends. Street parking available.

Went on Christmas Eve and despite it being incredibly busy, we felt well taken care of! Our food was quick, delicious, and reasonably priced! We had some of the best cocktails as well, including Meet You Up North! Will definitely return!

Experimental food menu is interesting, but might not appeal to everyone. The Reuben egg rolls & sprouts were great, the sliders pretty good, but the spread of life didn't quite work. Pretty decent craft beer selection. All the staff who waited our tables were friendly and great. Would've given another star, but their booking system isn't great, we were given a text warning to report to them within 5 minutes and we returned promptly only to be stuck behind an elderly couple who had got their reservation dates mixed up. Short of pushing past them, there was no way for us to present ourself to the hostess. But they gave our table away. Not a problem if they could find us another table, but the hostess then told us we were late and had arrived at minute 8, not 5. The other staff member beside her saw us arrive well in time, but didn't say anything. It's one thing to give away the table, but trying to argue with guests that they didn't turn up on time when they did isn't great customer service.

Went there on a Tuesday night, getting them to reserve a table was very difficult despite there being multiple empty tables when we arrived. We got the nachos which were very good and the sliders which were a bit salty. It was very loud and crowded, which is fine if that’s the atmosphere you like! They had a parking lot behind the restaurant which was pretty much full when we got there so we had to park on the street. Overall a decent experience.

The place was absolutely rocking at 2 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Even though the place was quite full, the service was excellent. Our server, Ty, was pretty sharp. Both the pizzas we had were fantastic and complemented each other. Good selection of beer on tap! A reservation is definitely recommended.

My friend and I decided to stop and have dinner after work. She was working in Hamilton so in said let choose something in between and Oakville was my choice. I checked in internet and Plank looks like a good option, because is close to the waterfront. Firsts the service is great, the girls are always with a smile and super attentive. I was very happy that they have the beer Madri. Have been my drink during 🌞 summer. I checked and was 15 min to 6pm and the have happy hour so we asked for 2 starters: arancini balls and thai Bam. That were ok for the price. My friend asked for a stake and fries. That was good too. They have a patio that is a plus. We have a great evening.

My first time at the Oakville location. $10. Apps before six. Very different from typical apps. Delicious and the serving size was good. Food was served hot and our server Faith was fantastic.

The staff was great. When walking in to be seated, they warn you of parking spots where your can can be towed. I appreciate this. Diner beware, basically. It's a busy corner and lots going on, so park at your own risk. Food was ok. I absolutely loved the new peach salad. Could use a few more peaches. The buratta is a nice touch. The salad's flavour was perfection. I did have Maldon salt I brought with me, and I used it on the salad to give it that extra something. In my opinion, the salad could use a sprinkle of finishing salt. The Spread of Life was just ok. I wouldn't order it again, but really wanted to try it. It was a basic plate with little flavour. It wasn't bad, just not something I'd order again. It is a perfect dish for sharing, or dieting if anyone is watching their waistline. For some reason, one of our party did not receive their food until about 20 minutes after the rest of us. The server immediately took it off the bill without us having to ask. That shows that this staff really understands clients and will work to make something right without the diner having to ask. We appreciated this. This really is a cute spot to visit in a great neighborhood. Everyone was really happy with the food overall. The fried cauliflower, and jerk chicken patties were so flavourful and excellent value. The pizzas were exceptional. We will be back.
