Chop Steakhouse & Bar

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and once again, the atmosphere and food were absolutely fantastic. I took advantage of the Stay and Dine offer from Sandman, which included a three-course dinner. However, I encountered the same issue as during my previous visit—the server seemed to place blame on the hotel for the offer, suggesting it was their fault for any confusion on price. While my server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great service overall, the blaming attitude felt unprofessional. If the restaurant is part of the hotel, it should operate cohesively as a team. Any concerns with policies or offers should be addressed internally and communicated effectively to ensure a seamless guest experience. I hope future visits reflect this level of coordination.

Right from the moment of entering Chop, we were cheerfully greeted! Then we were shown to our seats, no waiting. Monique our server observed us being seated, and quickly came over to see if we would like a drink. On returning, she told us of the special winter menu. We had many many questions pertaining to how food was prepared and in what oils. She was so patient and friendly, she conferred with the kitchen and came back with all the answers we were looking for. Throughout the meal, she would check on us and make sure our experience was top notch. Tim the manager also came by for a quick chat as it was our first time there. I have to say from the moment we walked in the door to the dessert, this restaurant is 5 stars!!! #1 in service, food, and quite warming atmosphere, even though the restaurant was full. So nice to sit with friends and be able to talk, even with background music. This restaurant and staff made the evening perfect!! We will definitely be back. The steaks are done to perfection and mouthwatering good! Bye bye The Keg! This is our go to steak restaurant!

Nothing but excellent service, atmosphere, food, ambiance, interior design, food presentation, clean and modern elegance in the bathrooms. It was my first time experience at Chop Steakhouse and I was very impressed with basically everything. I have to Thanks to excellent service our waiter Chris who did fantastic job. Totally recommend 👌.

We had such a great time at Chop. In all honesty, it was one of most flavourful experiences I/we had in a long while. Gillian was a thoughtful, knowledgeable, kind and attentive server that made our experience wonderful. Thank you to her. Our food was seasoned so nicely I had to ask who the chef was. Chef Kat was one of the best chefs I’ve had prepare my food for me in some time. I was thoroughly impressed. Looking forward to my next visit.

For kids meal way too much salt on the fries for a child even for myself too salty. Mashed potatoes were on the salty side as well. I guess cook likes to over salt, better to put less salt as more can be added at the table if needed. My salad the chicken breast looked like half portion of a chicken breast pieces cut up and spread on the plate.

Great overall experience!! Our attendant Morgan was great. Very helpful and quick! The mushroom dip was great tasting!! Yes did I say it was great!! Let me say it again lol!! Their prime rib was tender and cooked to perfection!! Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Great food, and service! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was our anniversary and they brought us free champagne. the quality of steak and everything we ordered was great! would come back for sure!

The food exceeded expectations. We stated off with French onion soup which was okay but the steaks were so good that they made up for everything! The price is also quite reasonable. Slow cooked prime rib was fantastic and so was the rib eye. The baked potato on the side is also good. I would skip the soup.
