Ottoman Turkish Grill

First time visiting this place. The food was good, and the portions were huge for the price. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely come back to try something else from the menu.

Disappointing Experience I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it turned out to be a major letdown. The chicken had an off-putting smell, almost like rotten fish, and the meat on the plate looked and tasted like leftover crispy scraps soaked in oil. It was far from appetizing. The staff did try to make up for it by offering us tea and tulumba on the house. Unfortunately, the tea was bitter and unpleasant, and the tulumba was stale, which only added to the disappointing experience. This is not authentic Turkish food by any means, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Save your money and your appetite for somewhere better.

The Turkish tea was amazing. Reminded me of the tea I had in Syria. Recently, it was priced for The Four of us. The meat tastes like it's barbecued over a charcoal grill.

Randomly stumbled upon this place in heartland, and I’m glad we did, the food was very good, the meat was juicy and flavourful and the service was great, Sarah helped us and answered our questions. Definitely good alternative to get away from the other places that are just way too busy. Will definitely be back!

I have tried a lot of Turkish restaurants in the GTA and this one was on our list to be tried It def did not disappoint in anyway. Re the interior it could do with a bit more light and looked very clean. The servers were super efficient and friendly. We enjoyed some of the assorted dips with the fresh hot bread. The hummus felt like it was from a can and not one bit tasty. Btw pls check the turnip pickle as it tasted awful. Needs big one improvement. With these two mentioned The assorted meat platter looked good. Wish the salad was in a separate bowl and not with the rest of the food. Meats were cooked well. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant.

Food - 2/5 Service - 1/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Price - Expensive Visited this restaurant based on the owner's recommendation. But I was really disappointed with the food. Ordered Ali Nazik, Sarma, Ottoman Chicken Tava Special, Tres Leches, and Kazandibi. The desserts we couldn't try, as we ordered it but none served, and it was getting late. In the end they brought it out in the takeout box, which we didn't want. Their bread was small and chicken wasn't good. We ordered the best mango juice as well, which you can see how it looks from the bottom. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit! Service was really poor, I had to wait a long time for the food, which wasn't even good.

Food tasted really good. Areeb was an excellent host. We had mixed grill, Kafte, minced beef pide and chicken pide - all tasted great. Ayran, Strawberry daiquiri and tea were good too. Keep it up guys.

The inside of the restaurant looked good, not so much for the cleanliness level tho. Floors weren’t clean and the tables/chairs weren’t tidy. There were significant amount of fruit flies inside. Food is overpriced and no deliciousness at all. The only thing that was delicious was the strawberry shake, again over priced and presentation needs adjustments (either use a smaller glass or add more juice to the cup). The menu is unfortunately deceiving. We ordered the Etli Ekmek Pide and it looked completely different than what we had served on our table (photos attached). Further, it tasted like it was defrosted and not freshly made, did not look close to the photo on the menu at all, and all the edges were cut as an attempt (I am guessing) to make it look fresh. Also, we ordered the Mix Grill for couples and 1- it was missing the beef and chicken doner meat 2- the kofta BBQ had a bad taste to it as if it was spoiled. Both our serves were nice, polite, and welcoming. They tried to figure out a solution but unfortunately our experience with the food wasn’t worth the effort.
