Istanbul Doner House

Came here for a third time and got doner with rice. The food came out quick, tasted fresh and the portions give you great value for your money. From my experiences, every course comes with a starter salad and post-meal Turkish tea, both of which are good. Service is friendly and they do a great job cleaning the restaurant. I find depending on the time of day however, the service structure varies as you’re either waiting at the door to be seated or you just walk in and seat yourself wherever. Either way, this is one of those places thats worth driving across the gta for and I’ll be coming back.

WOW! 🤩 the food, presentation and service just so good. We were total 7 of us visit the restaurant Monday, December 23th. Even was a Monday night restaurant was quite busy, but service didn’t delay at all We would like to special thank you to server Demet for her outstanding service and follow up with quality We ordered kelle paca soup, mix meze, lahmacun, etli ekmek, iskender kebap, kasarli pide, lamp chop and doner kebap. Salads and Turkish tea were complimentary from the restaurant. Prices were ok, not too expensive We would strongly recommend this place

It’s been 2 weeks that we ate here and Im still raving and craving it. Everything was excellent. Food taste, service, employees. They even gave us samplers and they were absolutely amazing. I hope to return soon and bring more of my friends next time. Such a lovely authentic restaurant.

Istanbul Doner House offers authentic, juicy, and flavorful dishes in generous portions. The food truly stands out, especially the meat, which is perfectly seasoned and doesn’t need any sauces to enhance its taste—it’s delicious as is. I highly recommend their sandwiches. That said, the restaurant is often very busy and struggles to keep up with seating. The indoor space is quite small and packed, so be prepared for a crowded experience. Overall, the amazing food more than makes up for the cramped atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely delightful. We went to this Turkish establishment for our lunch and it was an awesome experience. Service was great, Food was delicious and priced right, portion sizes where huge and ambience was good. Will definitely return. We got lentil soup and Platter for 2. Highly recommended. Approved !

Delicious food, long waiting on weekends. Seats are too close to next table seatings. Slightly congested. Serving is quick though. The food comes is good quantity and quality. Decent variety of dishes in the menu. Meats are juicy n flavourful. The servers are very dry hospitable. Overall a good experience!

The food was absolutely delicious and provided a fantastic introduction to Turkish cuisine. The customer service was outstanding; they made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The Turkish tea was excellent, the portion sizes were generous, and we had plenty of leftovers for another meal. A big thank you to the staff for looking after us and ensuring we had a great time.

Istanbul Doner is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Mississauga. The food and service are something that will compel you to keep coming back. Our server Fatima, was extra helpful and extremely courteous in helping us choose and serve in a timely fashion. Until next time!!!
