Food is below average. We were a big group so we tried a variety of food from fish and chips, to pasta, and burgers. Food is below average expectation from a bar. Also, DJ night on Fridays is nothing special, just a DJ playing regular music on a low volume. The entire restaurant started to smell like fish towards the end of the night which was not pleasant at all. Our server was nice so this is not about the service.

This is a pretty cool place to come grab a drink, eat good food and watch a game. The vibe are cool, each table has a little tablet that displays their promotions and has built in phone chargers. I thought that was a great touch. I ordered the butter chicken pizza. It was solid, the flavour was good and a great size. My friend got a burger and loved it as well. Try one of their island sodas with or without alcohol. I tried the passionfruit one, the flavour was perfect and refreshing.

The food provided was truly abysmal, with a complete lack of quality and taste. It was clear that little effort had been put into preparing or selecting the ingredients, resulting in a disappointing dining experience. From the bland and uninspired flavors to the poorly cooked and unappetizing presentation, it was evident that no care or attention had been given to the food. Overall, the meal was a complete letdown and left a lot to be desired in terms of both taste and quality.

The place is pretty average, nothing too fancy. We ordered wings and nachos. The food was okay, nothing really above average. Pretty mediocre place. You get a small amount for your meal. The service was also average.

Me and my family had a really nice experience last week in Oakside bar. A wonderful restaurant with best service and food in town. Definitely going back again, the fried calamari is my favorite 😍

THARMINE IS AWESOME! We were a group of 22, including 12 kids, and decided on a late dinner at Oakside Bar and Lounge. When we called ahead, they were happy to accommodate our large party, which was a great start to the evening. Despite the chaos that naturally comes with having so many little ones, Tharmine served us with a big smile throughout the night. She was incredibly friendly and polite, handling our group with ease and making us feel welcome. We were seated in a private area of the restaurant, which was perfect, as it allowed us to enjoy our meal without worrying about disturbing other patrons. The food was enjoyable, with a good variety that pleased both the kids and adults. Tharmine's excellent service made the experience even more memorable, and we appreciated her attentiveness and ability to keep everything running smoothly. Oakside Bar and Lounge is a fantastic choice for families and large groups, and Tharmine's outstanding service is a highlight. Highly recommended!

We went last year as well and the food is really good and both times the service was excellent. This time we shared appetizers. The Brussel Sprouts were my favorite. My brother loved the wings and my kid devoured the Mac and Cheese bites.
