Lahore Chatkhara

Tried Roho fish, crispy outside, and taste some fish smell inside. Then asked for more fish masala and taste got little better, solution for them to cut the whole fish in small about 10 to 12 pieces and fried it, will taste way better, and fish masala should be more will make difference, chicken karahi more taste like Nihari and sweet, smosa plate not worthy trying it, shami egg burger taste better then all others, but that was way too juicy and sauces dripped while taking bites. Over all good to try, Gol Gappy are okay, if they can add more stuff in gappaas, water for gol gappa has good sweet and sour taste.

The food seemed rather disappointing when it came to taste and linking it to the Lahore street food vibe. Their main item, tawa chicken, when it came to spice levels was very low, it had a very strong creamy taste which isn’t how it should be. The fish was very oily per bite, it felt like we were swallowing oil before biting into the meat. The shami burger was good, however the liberty burger was supposed to be non spicy for my child, but it came out super spicy which made us give him only fries that evening. 3 stars for the staff for at least trying to save the day and offering my child a kulfi to make him smile! Otherwise this sadly would be a 1-star review.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for such a long time and I’m so happy I finally got to try it! I came here with my husband on a Sunday afternoon and was met with polite and friendly hospitality. The ambiance, the attention to detail not only in the food but the decor was so nice! We tried the gol gappay, tawa chicken, beef kachori and matka coffee. I really wanted to try the fish but it wasn’t available at the time but I have a very good feeling it’s going to be very good. I’m so excited to come back and try more from their menu! Each and everything was so good and so flavourful we had so much fun eating here. Will definitely be coming back!

It was my first experience to visit Lahore chatkhara. And I love every bit of it food music and ambiance everything top notch. How can I forget customer service it was friendly welcoming. I would highly recommend if u want to try Authentic Lahori taste.

I came from Vancouver and couldn’t find any authentic places to eat. This place is by far the best I’ve ever been to! They serve amazing food, especially the Nikki Tikki it’s a must try and won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

A small place located inside the Ridgeway Plaza. We tried a few items and overall it was a decent experience. It’s a self serve style place with many street food items from Pakistan. Our favorites were the Chaat Papdi, Fried fish, and Golgappas. Tawachicken was not good. Over powering Clove flavor and garam masala flavor. Club sandwich was ok. Chicken cheese naan was also pretty good. Chicken SHAMI sandwich was also pretty good but not the best. Like always, try it for yourself. I’ll recommend this place if you’re in the area.

As someone from Karachi, I found the food here absolutely refreshing! Some items, like the Nikki Tikki beef kababs, were new for me and very delicious. Their fried fish is one of the best with the desi marination. The place has a very nice interior and the service I received was quick. Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

They have breakfast on Sundays! We had a lovely experience. The channa was delicious. We are always on the lookout for truly amazing channa so we will be back! The breads were freshly made and high quality. The chai and lassi were also exceptional. Its obvious they put a lot of thought into their food and menu. Can’t wait to try their regular menu! Staff are happy to give your their recommendations and the atmosphere is laid back and stylish. Have been back several times. Love the Anda Channay and Lacha Parathas. The new beef kachori was fresh and crisp and sooo good.
