Afghan Flame

First of all for appetizers fries were not even spicy (we ordered spicy fries) at all but the fish was very soft and crispy it was probably one of the best things which they have next the bargha kabob was actually very good it was juicy and oily but too HARD. Next off the lamb sizzler had a stunning presentation but it was just a bit bit under cooked very close to medium rare but still very nice and the kids naan pizza was very small but surprisingly very VERY good it was also extra cheesy. Now I wouldn’t say this is 5 starts at all but maybe 3.75 stars Why? Because their fries had barely ANY seasoning so as the fish like no marination at all what the hell but still very soft and crispy can’t argue with that. Next the bargha kabob was very juicy and oily but very hard. Hope this restaurant improves! Recommendation: Pay more attention to food details

Went for our first time and ordered 2 apps (Bolani and eggplant) and then the meat platter for 2 (shared between 4) and it was more than enough food for all of us. The food was fantastic, eggplant tasted home made, the platter had great flavours. Service was great even though it was a full house. Ambiance was also beautiful. Would definitely come back very soon.

I went to Afghan flame today for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious. However, there were few issues that makes me not want to dine in the restaurant again. 1) The service was lacking. We received our meat platter. However, we didn't receive spoons for the rice. We had to ask the waitress three times before she remembered to bring us spoons. Furthermore, we wanted to order additional items. However, no one attended to us when we were eating. 2) The restaurant is cramped. There is no room to walk around and are sitting back to back with strangers. Although, the food is amazing. I don't think I will dine in again. Rather, it is a worthy restaurant to take out.

First time here from Cambridge, i was very curious by seeing 7k reviews with 4.8 rating, decided to try with family. It was worth coming here from Cambridge, the only thing is when we called for reservations there was non, they have mentioned its first come first serve which was fine with us. We tried lamb shank, kandhari chargha, and sultani kabob along with pizza for kids. I just love the food and then tried mango smoothie and karak chae, karak chae was not as per the expectations but still everything was 10/10 Very crowded but service was amazing 😍, 100 marks for YUSUF who was the server... Highly recommend to everyone

Food is amazing and the service is even better. Rayyan served us and he was so friendly. Assad was great as well and accommodating in regards to seating arrangements. Definitely recommend coming here. Can't wait to visit again.

We had an amazing experience at this Afghan restaurant! We ordered the Meat Lovers platter and the Lamb Sizzling, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The spices were well-balanced, and the portions were generous. The Lamb Sizzling came out fresh and aromatic, making it a standout dish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly (Nazanin served us and she was really nice). We’ll definitely be coming back for another meal! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at Afghan Flame! Rayyan provided amazing service, going above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The Royal Experience Platter for two was delicious and had huge portions—we could barely finish it! The heated patio had a cozy atmosphere, though the space was a bit tight. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great dining experience and it is truly one of the better Afghan dining places around. The restaurant is spacious and very nicely decorated which adds to the ambience. The food itself was excellent as well. We tried a number of items and liked them all. From the chefs special, The mix grill and the half grilled chicken are great options. The mix grill allows you to try a number of items as u get beef and chicken pieces and beef kebab. We found all items very well seasoned and grilled really well. Juicy and flavourful. The half chicken was quite flavourful. Everything was fresh and u could tell that in the taste. The mango smoothie is also very refreshing. Recommended!
