Jack's Whitby

The atmosphere was incredible! Whoever decorated for Christmas did a fabulous job! Our server (Ki)? [I’m pretty sure that was how she spelt her name] was wonderful. Helpful, attentive, professional, personable, and provided overall great service! We were lucky to have sat in her section. We got the pan bread as an app, which is always delicious! I got a goat cheese wrap. It was my first time trying it, so I knew there was a risk involved. There was a lot of sauce. You bite in and get a mouthful of sauce. I would try it again, but next time get the sauce on the side. My boyfriend and I were so full, but made room for the sticky toffee pudding. I think it’s only being offered for a limited amount of time, so I highly recommend it!

Not that cheap. Still affordable. First time in a Jack’s Astor. The place during Christmas time is very nice. There is a very good holidays vibes. Large restaurant with plenty of places. Seems to be busy at any time of a Sunday day. Customer service is good. We were 4 and the last meal (same burger for the 4 people) took quite longer. Like 5-6 minutes later which make us impatiently waiting for the last dish to arrive while looking into each other eyes mouth-watering to eat not wanting to be rude and dishes getting colder. My fries were not hot though. The washroom could get some renovations. The parking is pretty large.

We had reservations for a Friday evening - we got our table quickly and the place was all decked out for Christmas. Incredible vibes. Nadine was our server and she was so kind and helpful. She checked in often to make sure we had what we needed. Food is always super tasty (Thai coconut curry bowl was 10/10). Great night!

Jack Astors is a great place to hangout with friends and family, we visited them on our anniversary and love their greeting and their food. The staff is so friendly and very prompt. Love their atmosphere. They also treated us with a dessert which is on them as it’s our anniversary.

What an awesome surprise when we walked into Jacks in Whitby and it was decorated in full-on Christmas / Santa’s workshop decor!! Christina was amazing! She was so attentive and our 6yr old loved her, she was so patient and attentive in taking her order. Christina was so helpful in all our tables requests, she made the experience even better! Food was good and prices/portions were good value. Great family spot!! We will most definitely be back again!

We had an amazing experience at Jack’s Whitby! Nicole is the best server and checked in consistently to make sure we had everything we need. She also gave us great recommendations and the food was 👌. Also, love the Swiftie-themed drink options!

With a warm and welcoming environment, this Jack Astor's branch certainly does not disappoint. A review of 4.5 stars would be most accurate but due to the limits I unfortunately have to round down. Me and a couple of friends had a wonderful dining experience here just a while ago. We were greeted very warmly, by I assume a manager, and after walking through the restaurant, we were lead to the patio. Menu options were plenty and I loved the variety of food and drinks. As you can see in the pictures, the variety is clearly visible. The waiter taking our orders was the kindest soul. She constantly checked on our table to make sure everything was up to standard or if we needed anything. A detail I wanted to mention was the "last call" they had. Our group went there a bit late so while ordering, our waiter informed us about the restaurant's "last call" and what time it'd be. After, towards the end of our meal, the waiter came to us asking "would you like anything before last call?". This act clearly showcased their care and attention to the customers which I truly appreciate, Similiar to the top notch service, food quality was nothing short of amazing. The attention and time put into the food was visible from the well done presentation and delicious taste. Portions were adequate and prices were acceptable compared to quality. Only reason I deducted a 0.5 (had to round to a 1 star deduction unfortunately) is that the wait time to be seated was disappointing compared to expectations. We were waiting at the front door for around 10 minutes because there was no one at the front.
