Hakka Legend Asian Cuisine Ajax

We ordered take out food today 1. We ordered 2 egg fried rice with extra egg even after ordering extra egg I can hardly see egg in the fried rice ( imagine if I didn’t order Extra egg) how would egg fried rice look 2. I have been a customer with Hakka Legend ( warden and eglinton) from 2004. After we moved to Ajax we have been dining and ordering from Ajax Hakka Legend. I should mention that the quality of food is different every time we order ( there is no consistency). My experience today was pathetic.( there is no salt, spices are not adequate, gravy is very less gets dried if you decide not to eat immediately) 3. I probably will not order or dine at Hakka legend again 4. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. There charges are good enough to give good quality of food 5. I recently suggested a friends family to dine. I will not hear after. 6. I was in mood to eat Indian Chinese food today as the weather is very cold. I am disappointed

Can’t believe this place is still in business. The prices are astronomical, and clearly not standardized across their various locations. I got the Guyanese chicken on fried rice, chilli chicken, and mixed vegetables. Was over $51. The exact same items in the east Scarborough location would have been at least $5 less. They also try to incentivize you to pay by cash for a “10% discount”. I can only presume why they’d want fewer sales traceable.

Gave me hot and sour soup instead f Manchurian. Just before closing. I called the restaurant a million times before closing and the ignored the call. They must close up like a pit crew, as I was outside their door by 10:05 and the were gone. The receipt clearly says Manchurian soup as well.

Was very disappointed with our vegetable pad thai. For almost $20, there were no vegetables and no flavor. Should not have cost that much. Way too overpriced. Also, forks and napkins were not prepacked. Expected better since I've been to the markham location and have had better experiences there. Will not return to this location again. Not surprised about the other negative reviews.

Worst Dining Experience Ever - Avoid at All Costs! I recently visited this restaurant, and it was a complete nightmare from start to finish. We ordered chicken, and when it arrived, it was clearly undercooked—pink and raw in the middle. Concerned for our safety, we brought this to the attention of the server, who was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, they arrogantly claimed they showed it to the chef who supposedly said it was "cooked." To cover their tracks, they threw the raw chicken in the garbage, probably trying to avoid a liability issue. As if this wasn't bad enough, all four of us who dined there are now suffering from food poisoning. This place is a health hazard and should be shut down. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this disaster of a restaurant. Your health isn't worth the risk!

Food was alright, very basic Asian stuff, I didn’t get the kick or texture that authentic Hakka provides in the Chinatown’s of the world.

Wife picked up take out we got hakka noodles (no flavour very bland like Mr noodles) chili chicken again bland even the color was wrong, calamari wasn't deep fried enough was way to rubbery, and tofu which we didn't bother touching after everything else was awful. To make matters worse I call back speak to someone she listens to my complaint and then says please hold puts me on hold for 10 mins only for me to hang up and call back again . The solution they asked me to bring back the food for full refund and so I did.

Not the best service but the food of Hakka Legend is always good. The Sweet and Sour Manchurian chicken is their best dish. Location is nice but a bit small. The staff takes their time to bring water, extra napkins, etc and you may have to ask twice for any requests.
