First off my impressions of this place looking at the reviews online and all the other recommendations I’ve had was not bad so I decided to visit this Greek restaurant myself, overall the location itself is very nice because it’s along the river and also it has outdoor seating to which can provide a really nice view while you’re eating. The service itself was very accommodating, and the wait time was not too long, even though it was pretty busy the day that we went. Going to the actual food it was not authentic at all. I believe that it was either too salty or too oily or just not good at all and I do understand that this is my opinion and there can be a lot of other people saying that it was really good and authentic and reminds them of Greek food but for me it just didn’t hit the spot. The Gyro, salad, the bread even it was either two processed and not made in House and just not good at all. I had even asked the waitress if the food made in house or do they just get it in packages and they did say that they do receive some of their food in packages such as the Gyro. Overall, I was disappointed at the food but the experience with the venue and location was not bad. Also, just making sure it’s known I 100 precent know that the gyro atleast was not made in house, I have had authentic in house gyro and that was not It, also who puts that much oil on a salad. Very disappointing and I had to ask them to take off the gyro from the bill too, I was not paying almost 25 bucks for that food.

My first experience was a very good one. After staying in the area for the last 20 years it was my first visit and a very pleasant one. Loved the food- I think we went overboard in ordering. Meats tender, rice flavourful starters awesome. If you are shopping at the NOTL premium outlets and want to take a lunch break I recommend this place . Please book prior to visit.

The appetizers were good and fresh. We sat at the indoor patio which was really nice. Didn't enjoy the doner platter much. Maybe need to try something else on my next visit.

Authentic and delicious Greek 🇬🇷 food with a stunning, unique view of the enormous ships passing through drawbridge and Welland Canal locks! 🚢 Not only is the establishment enormous and perfect for large parties, but the location is super interesting. While you are eating, the Homer Drawbridge opens right beside the restaurant then some of the largest ships I've ever seen pass through just a stone throw away from your table! Great place with great food! 🍢

In general it is a nice restaurant with a great view, affordable prices, and friendly staff. We ordered octopus as an appetizer but it was a bit chewy, the garlic bread comes in a different presentation, check the picture. I will definitely come back to try other meals.

It was our first time trying Greek food! We really liked it. Calamari was juicy with lettuce and the sauce. We chose our meal from the lunch menu. They were budget friendly compared to other restaurants nowadays. Good food with good price and good service! They were pretty busy at lunchtime, so it would be better to make a reservation if ur a big group!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible dining experience at George Greek Village in St. Catherine’s! The food was absolutely fantastic—each dish was a flavorful journey through Greek cuisine, and the portions were generous. The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is perfect, with stunning views of the canal where you can watch the ships go by. It’s a truly charming setting that enhances the whole dining experience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy great food, excellent service, and beautiful scenery!
