Small, but vibrant mexican joint. Excellent atmosphere and decorations. We went there on a Saturday for lunch and didn't have to wait, though we saw a line up after we were seated. The food is amazing and flavorful. One of those places where you want to try the whole menu!

We had a lovely dinner at Comal y Canela. We ordered the 5 beef tacos, and they were delicious! 🌮 They also gave us complimentary tortilla chips as a bonus, and they were phenomenal. The only downside was that the space felt a bit small, and the music was pretty loud. It really depends on the type of atmosphere you're after. The food was amazing, but we’ll definitely just do take out next time.

Their enchilada was definitely not my favorite. I didn't like the food that much. Also they do not have much of variety of options. However, I REALLY liked the vibe of the restaurant. So I really want to come back for that. Awesome interior and design with perfect music.

I moved to Vancouver in 2021 and I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for the past 3 years. I was in Toronto this weekend and to my surprise they were open on Monday morning so I decided to go for brunch. This is by far the most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. El cafe de Olla (Mexican coffee) was so good I wish the coffee cup was bottomless so that I could keep drinking it. The food was spectacular, full of flavour. I loved every single bite of it. Next time I'm in Toronto I will definitely come to taste more of their menu.

It's been a while since a place like this has blown me away. Absolutely did not expect how amazing the food would be. The restaurant is small and basic - although nicely decorated- so be ready for a wait , but not many places are worth the wait. This one surely is. The staff were extremely friendly too and the food came lighting fast.

it’s a great place to grab authentic Mexican food. We tried 4 different meats, they were all nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Parking is hard to find during dinner time and dine in area is small so you have to wait for few minutes for table. Service was attentive and prices are cheap for the amount of food you get.

Tiny little spot but amazing food! Best tacos I have ever had. Super flavourful and packed with meat. Everyone was so sweet too! We did have to wait as it is small restaurant but they took our order while we waited. Our food arrived very quickly once we were seated. Feels very authentic and homey. Must visit!
