Was very surprised at the quantity and quality of dim sum here. Seems to be a very modernized take but holding a lot of the authentic values as well. Good straightforward service, reasonable pricing to the size of dim sum portions. Ensure you bring any containers yourself though, you get changed for containers here.

Was very pleased we decided to try this place on Christmas Day! We live pretty close and this restaurant is probably as close (or better) than the quality of Chinese food that you can find in places like Markham and Richmond Hill. Will be coming here a lot more for dim sum and dinner. Highly recommend!

They serve some good dim sum here. Some items are better than others. Prices are okay. Portions are okay for the price. Can be busy. Suggest you reserve for weekends. Shared tables are an option too. Free WiFi. No credit card surcharge. One can get a VIP card for discounts. Clean facility. Clean washrooms. Friendly staff who can speak English Cantonese and Mandarin. The kitchen is fairly quick. Floors are very slippery when wet.

Visited Wok Theory 新天虹 in Toronto’s Chinatown, and it’s officially my go-to spot for authentic Cantonese food! The environment is clean, spacious, and perfect for family gatherings or even business meals. Must-tries: 🦀 Steamed Garlic Vancouver Crab in Lotus Leaf Rice – The crab is fresh, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the rice steamed in lotus leaf. Every bite screams umami. 🍲 Canton style chicken hotpot – A winter essential! The broth is rich and comforting, with just the right amount of peppery kick. The meat is tender, and the side of handmade beef balls is a delightful bonus. 🦐 Mango Shrimp Balls & Grapefruit Shrimp Balls – Perfect for those who love fruity, refreshing flavors. The mango version was my favorite! 🍳 Seafood Egg Tofu – Silky tofu combined with fresh seafood and a flavorful broth. A must for tofu lovers. 🥧 Salted Egg Yolk Bun – Soft buns with molten salted egg yolk filling—perfectly balanced sweet and savory. The best part? It’s super affordable! Two people can easily share a soup and a main for $20–30 per person. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch Cantonese cuisine in Toronto. 📍 Address: 530 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5T 1H3

This is a great place for casual Cantonese fare. We showed up at 15:45 and was told if I ordered Dimsum before 16:00 that there is a discounted price. I ordered steamed mushroom & pumpkin dumplings, chui chow dumplings, pork soup filled dumplings, and a noodle dish that is hard to find called “ handmade stir-fried silver pin noodles w/ shrimp”. It used to be more common in the 80’s. We also ordered from the menu, stir-fried gailan with garlic and ginger and rice noodles with chicken and black bean sauce. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable as the tables were well spaced apart. The food came quickly and was served freshly steamed/piping hot. The stir-fried dishes had that “wok hei” taste. We had Jackie serve us at our table and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. He also gave us complimentary tapioca & taro soup for dessert which is absolute favourite! I will definitely be back!

Service is quick and efficient. That's all you really need. Food is great and prices are quite decent. Book one of the VIP rooms for a quieter dining experience, but minimum spend is $188 in the private rooms I think. Some dishes are not available until 11am so keep that in mind if you come early. Great place, newly renovated, clean individual private washrooms, clean and modern dining area and easy access to street and Green-P parking

Came in on a Monday at 1pm. The restaurant was 30% full so we got a table immediately. They do not have chrysanthemum tea. Tea is $1.50 each person. Items are made to order. Interior is bright and modern. If you pay by cash you receive a 10% discount off your bill. They also offer a membership card for $20 which offers discounts and waives the tea charges. Majority of the items we've ordered, I enjoyed. Especially the chicken feet which I usually don't eat. My least favorite was their new seaweed crab roll which is fried imitation crab sticks wrapped in seaweed. You get 3 pcs with mayo to dip for $7.38. Not worth it. Also the short ribs were chewy. Service was friendly and items came out in a timely manner.

It’s a relatively new restaurant in China town. We had breakfast dim sum there. The service is good although not all the service speaks Chinese, which is okay with us. The restaurant is clean. Food is okay! Not bad in downtown dim sum standard. Portion is on smaller side. We love the squid and egg yolk buns.
