WIND Japanese and Thai

Beautiful all-you-can-eat (AYCE) masked as high-end restaurant. Very good food in a luxurious setting. Robot delivery adds to the unique dining experience. The highlight of the meal is definitely the fresh skewers that the waiters come around with. The lamb and shrimpcskewers are my favorite. As with any AYCE, the sushi and Thai is not top-notch compared to specialty restaurants. The $50/head is not good value imo. If I wanted either Japanese or Thai, there are better options. However, for a group it's a very good option as it has a wider appeal. Imo, you can not be a 5 star Sushi restaurant in the GTA if you do not offer Hamachi, Toro, Hokagai. On the Thai side, it doesn't get much better. Pretty much green curry and Pad Thai. Compare that to a menu like Thai Bamboo.

Great experience at Wind Japanese and Thai! The fresh sushi, warm sake, flavorful beef fried rice, and the most delicious green Thai curry made for an amazing meal. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here with my family and the setting is very elegant and clean, we felt a bit out of place because there were 5 of us and 2 of them were under 2 years, but the staff made us feel comfortable and they were very helpful, kind, and attentive as well. The restrooms were clean and the whole restaurant was clean and organized as well, I like the whole thing of just putting in your order on a tablet and waiting for it to come with the robot or sometimes the waiter comes. The food was delicious, fresh, hot, and full of flavor, we waited about 5 mins after putting in the order which is ok. The portion sizes were good and we did buffet style which is recommended if you have a family of 4 or more that can eat. I recommend trying this restaurant for yourself because you might just like it as well. Just a bit disappointed that there is no change table in the restroom for babies but there must be a reason why.

My go to place when we crave sushi. Can be busier in the weekends. Evening menu has more options and we prefer to go in the evenings. Sometimes serving some BQQ chicken, shrimps and beef. Really enjoy family time and all you can eat sushi.

Excellent ambience, multiple veg options.. amazing staff and the food quality.. I rarely find quality restaurants with a great pricing and this is one of them. You must visit as a family or corporate events. They have buffet and a la carte options.

This is my first time dining here and the atmosphere inside is great! The food was good and served relatively quickly! The service is also very good, especially the waitresses named Mabel and Peggy. They served our family very attentively.My kids also liked it very much. On the way home, they said they would come to dine next time.

Dining at Wind in Mississauga was a fantastic experience. Jessie and Min provided exceptional service, making us feel welcome and attended to. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the dynamite rolls were a standout, perfectly crispy and delicious. It was a perfect dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Highly recommend Wind for an amazing sushi experience!

This is quite a large restaurant partitioned into smaller cozier sections. The decor and lighting provide a nice ambience. Service was excellent. There was a decent selection for both food and beverage. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have different drink specials on different days. Thursdays are $7 for a 16oz pint of Sapporo. The dishes were all nicely presented and tasty. The highlight was their various meat and shrimp skewers which they brought to the table much like in a Brazilian steakhouse. The skewers were all well prepared. Very tasty! For an all you can eat restaurant they also offer a surprisingly large selection of desserts, including deep fried mars bar and banana. I definitely plan on returning and would recommend this restaurant.
