With our everchanging menu, seasonal & local inspiration and forward approach to dining, our commitment to excellence shows in everything we do. From our in house butchery, cooking over charcoal, to working with local suppliers in our community We challenge the way we all think about Food & Drink.

We went for the New Year’s Eve special dinner ( 7 course meal) with two others. With a 135$ per person for the experience we expected it to be exceptional food, but sadly the experience was just average. There were no stand out dishes, all the dishes seem to be pretty average. Incredible experience at The Standard! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The bartender was equally amazing, crafting delicious drinks and adding such a warm vibe to the evening conversing with us all night. The food was absolutely phenomenal—each dish was perfectly prepared. The drinks were spot-on, with creative cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal. This place has it all: great atmosphere, fantastic service, and incredible food and drinks. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My daughter and I had my birthday lunch on the patio last week. Everything, and I mean everything from the food, cocktails and service was outstanding. The hardest part was deciding what to order off the menu. The portion sizes are unbelievable. Don’t let the small plates section mislead you. Will most definitely be returning.

We booked the chef tasting menu for our anniversary, and it was AWESOME!! The food was mouth watering, the service was superb and the atmosphere was fun. We had the opportunity to try dishes before they launch on the main menu, which was so exciting. We were served by the chef de cuisine, Matt. He explained each dish, and let us know the cooking process and where the ingredients came from. A lot of the key ingredients are local. It's evident that the menu is well thought out, with a focus on making sure the preparation brings out the max flavour and enjoyment of the food. The music was great, not too loud but enough to set the vibe. The service was fantastic. Thanks for taking care of us, Ryan!

Had a great girls night dinner, ordered a bunch of items on the menu and shared and we were very impressed with them all! Service was great we had a gentleman who was friendly funny and tentative. All the dishes we had loved but the tortellini and the carrots were different and exceptional, but try them all I don't think you will be upset!

My wife and I went to The Standard today for our anniversary dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic. Our server, Alex, was attentive, kind, and funny. One of the best meals I've had in a long time and I agree - they make the best espresso martini in town. Reasonably priced and high quality food.

Located downtown, we sat outside and enjoyed our brunch at The Standard. We made reservations ahead of time which required a credit card. The food was delicious. The French toast was little undercooked, but everything else was great! The biscuit plate was very good. Interesting, seasonal menu that will keep you coming back for more. Our servers were excellent and attentive. There is a paid parking lot next door which was convenient. Definitely worth a try!

Dined at The Standard restaurant for a pre show dinner and to be honest we weren’t expecting much as we needed to grab a fairly quick dinner . The restaurant is within walking distance to the theatre so we ventured in. The Standard is hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but The Standard is full of surprises on the inside. The open kitchen caught our eye as we watched the chefs plate their yummy creations. The service was fantastic and the servers were all friendly. Cocktails were very tasty. The food was on another level. Food was incredibly flavourful. Crispy fried watermelon and the Chili crunch calamari were out of this world. This restaurant has a smaller menu with some very unique dishes to chose from. We will definitely be returning to the Hammer for another scrumptious dinner hopefully soon. The Standard exceeded all expectations Well Done:)
