Souper Hot Pot

Honestly, it was a really great experience. Our server Melody displayed excellent customer service from the moment we sat at our table. She was the sweetest and kindest throughout the entire dining experience. She answered all of our questions about the menu and always made sure our water was topped up. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Seating staff needs to improve their professionalism. Our group of 7 checked in as number 87. After waiting for an hour, we were told we were behind only three parties. Yet, we watched as number 100 was seated ahead of us. There were multiple empty tables that could have been grouped together, but the staff continued skipping numbers without saying anything or even suggesting we split up while we waited. By the 2-hour mark, we asked if we can be split and seated at the available tables, only to be told, “No, sorry, you have to wait for the one big table.” So it’s acceptable to leave tables empty while we’re willing to sit separately? This lack of consideration for customers’ time is unacceptable. the staff should think more critically about handling such situations. I’ve been to plenty of other places that manage this much better. You cannot go out and say we have to let smaller parties in, if we let you guys in other smaller groups have to wait (????) I'm not sure what he was trying to get to with this, you are getting 7 people either way but you chose to let later people to come in and not those who have been waiting? The food and service are simply not worth this level of inefficiency and disregard. *note that after a lot of pressure from my friend, after seated at 8pm they offer free drinks. Honestly we would have been less unhappy with more communication from the staff rather than just ignore us standing there and kept skipping the number. My first time with another female waitress here was very good. I'm really disappointed by the guy we got today

Souper Hot Pot is fantastic! The Mala Tang soup base has the perfect amount of spice and is bursting with flavor. The ingredients are fresh, and the spice level is just right—so addictive! If you're a fan of bold, flavorful dishes, this is definitely the spot to visit. The server Morgan was super kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

The tomato soup base is my favourite here! I’ve been to similar places around the gta but the selection of ingredients here are most plentiful and fresh given the turnover. I also really like the sauce station they have. Ice cream and the aprons are a bonus too :)

Every time I see a place with a waiting line I know it's a good place to eat and the rule applies in this restaurant. The waiting list is fast and customer service is good and efficient. There are many options to chooseThere are stations divided by vegetables, protein, and food and drinks. At the end, you get to the checkout and choose the type of broth you want in your pot. And in a few minutes they give you your dish, honestly it was a good experience.

Been here twice now for their tomato soup and I’m excited to go back!! Love the variety of what you can fill your bowl with and the price. The free ice cream is great too. Despite the casual vibe the service is still attentive.

Four weeks in and the team is nailing it. Food is on point with a wide selection and quality items to choose from. When seafood selection includes crab legs, escargot, to squid, you know they’re not throwing the cheapest food selection on display. The soup was well made and consisted of well seasoned differing bone broths, a little on the lighter side but their dipping sauce selection balanced out the taste profile. Service was beyond expectations as they were attentive but not intrusive, extremely proactive, and polite. The décor was very comfortable and classy paired with the golden utensils. Price is very reasonable if not a steal! Each pot averaged $20-50 depending on how much you got. Would definitely come again and great for families with young children, date night, and especially students. Highly recommend!

Such a fun, extensive selection of hotpot ingredients… lots of items you don’t typically see, including their seafood variety which I really enjoyed trying. Everything tasted and appeared very fresh, the food station especially was very well maintained. The pay per weight concept is nice since everything is one set price so you can take advantage and grab the good quality stuff without holding back. Overall, delicious bowls and soup.
