I had the pho dac biet and the Thai green tea. My sister had the bun rieu & the ice coffee with salt foam and egg. The pho had a nice sweet and beefy broth, the noodles were nice annd chewy; the Thai green tea was delicious. The bun rieu was well liked and my sister rated it a 9/10. I would skip the iced kumquat and sugarcane juice, it had a bitter aftertaste and I didn’t taste the sugarcane much. But the Thai Green Tea, amazing.

I was excited to try this place after all the hype, but was ultimately disappointed. The pho broth was different from other places, which was interesting, but it was a bit watery and bland. The bun thit nuong was underwhelming and tasted rather average. They also provided the smallest portion of fish sauce accompaniment but staff was quick and happy to give another portion. The bun rieu looked flavourful but gave almost nothing. It was also bland and underwhelming. The fried soft shell crab was good though. All in all, a pretty underwhelming experience. Staff was great though!

Probably the least enjoyable pho I’ve had in a while. Understandable that it’s a southern style so it’s more sweet of a broth, but to lack flavour in general was such a let down. The soup basically tasted just like the fresh rice noodles which is crazy how the noodle putting taste into the broth overpowered the beef. Completely lacked dimension and depth. At least prices were good and fair. But I’d rather pay $20 for a good pho though. Would not return or recommend at all.

Finally got to try this place after seeing it on Instagram. We ordered the fried pork wonton, chicken vermicelli and rare beef and beef balls pho. The fried wonton wrapper was thin and crispy. The pho had OK broth flavour. Ordered large but felt kind of small. OK pho overall. The chicken on the vermicelli was nicely grilled. Spring rolls were average. Service was friendly

2024 September 2.5★ A small Vietnamese restaurant with connections to their home branch in Vietnam. While that location might have gotten a Michelin star (at least that's what's stated in the menu) this location does not. If this location has, I'm sure it would be displayed prominently. Alas, had high expectations and it failed. Pho Noodle Rare Beef $14.75 + $2 for large This was ok. The broth was decent, but really expected better. Meat was ok. Bun Rieu w/ Crab $19.50 The soup base lacked here. Not enough tomatoes nor crab meat. No rich umami that you would expect from the crab soup. The traditional crab minced meat was made into balls which were interesting (different presentation), but again, lacked rich crab flavors. The fried crab was ok. Bun Bo Hue Bun Noodle $16.50 + $2 for Large This was so so. Again, it was missing the mark. The broth just wasn't flavorful enough and the tomato soup base was lacking. Papaya & Mango Salad w/ Shrimp $12 This was good, but certainly not worth the price given the portions. Spring Roll 2pc $3 add on combo. This was decent. Traditional Taro spring roll. Presentation was ok overall. However missed the mark on flavors. Would pass.

We got the pho and the Chicken & Beef Vermacelli. Both delicious options and big portions. I can see why the Vietnam location has a Michelin star. The spring rolls that were part of the vermicelli were some of the best spring rolls I've ever had. Do note this is a cash/debit place only.

Came here on Sunday around 7:45 pm, and we waited 15 mins for our table. Food came out really fast after we ordered. They don't have a big menu, but they got all the usual Vietnamese items I would order anyway. Chicken wings are good Pho noodles soup is not very hot when it comes out, but it is ok. Soup broth tastes good and is the type of broth I like without a lot of cinnamon. We ordered the Laksa noodles, and Laksa is not so much of a Vietnamese specialty, but it ends up one of the best Laksa I like. It's not too salty and not too strong and not too spicy. Parking is usually difficult in this Plaza, but it has a lot of parking spots available today during our visit. Services is very good here.

The meat tasted high quality. Beef bone was cooked well to impart a deep beef taste yet tender. I got hoisin sauce ready, but wasn’t needed. Noodles are very fresh with bounce when you bite into it. The hue style broth was very balanced in flavour. Combo for $2 wasn’t worth the cost for the chicken wings, but okay to try it for the first time. Thai milk teas were good but on the sweeter side. Green tea version was strong in tea flavour, but I didn’t see how it stood out being a green tea Thai milk tea vs regular green milk tea. This being said, I would get either drinks again next time we visit.
