I went to Omiwol and I hope they can keep up their fantastic service and good quality of meat. I visited last week of year 2024 to take advantage of tax break and their opening promotion of free Triple-aged Striploin for $80+ order. I was worried after reading couple of reviews saying service was bad, but everyone was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Pork and mushroom set and price for their pork menu set was lowered by $10 compared to what we saw on their website. (Not sure if temporary or not) As for the meat, I didn’t notice too much difference for triple-aged striploin we got as promotion (maybe we overcooked it?) but pork were definitely way juicier and tender compared to other Kbbq places I have been to. All in all, I really enjoyed our visit to Omiwol but think I will have to come back next year to see if they can maintain this high standard as they just opened

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at this new gem of a restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the unique aged Korean BBQ. The addition of leaf fat for greasing the grill added a delightful touch and elevated the flavors of the food. The service was exceptional as well. Eddie, the owner, personally visited our table and took charge of the cooking after we hilariously struggled with the grill and accidentally charred our meat. His expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. Our server, Kevin, was lots of fun, his vibrant personality and attentiveness added to the overall fun of the evening. We left very full and with big smiles, eager to return! Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I ordered the Pork Combo (inc collar, belly and jowl). The combo is for 2 people but I think it can easily feed up to four people. Service was friendly and recommended me wine to pair with my dinner, which I ordered. Food was served promptly at the time of order and I didn’t wait long for any of my food. The food is superb, the meat doesn’t need any of the dipping sauces for full enjoyment of the meat. I enjoyed the meat on its own. Overall, I definitely recommend Omiwol. The combos are definitely an amazing deal, and the restaurant inside is so nice for date night.

Great KBBQ place. We tried the pork combo (pork jowl, belly and collar). The triple aged meats were very tender and meaty. The kimchi fried rice and tofu soup was the perfect side with it.

The menu features a variety of Korean barbecue options, complemented by a selection of noodle dishes. The meats were of high quality, and well marinated. We especially loved the pork belly. The accompanying side dishes, or banchan, were fresh. Overall amazing experience at Omiwol! Would recommend 10/10

3 of 5 servers were welcoming but other two were rude. Maybe because they are still in soft opening phase - the food (raw meat) took a long time to come out. The beef and pork were good 4/5 but the side dishes were 2/5. Kimchi was not fermented enough and the cucumber kimchi was watery because they didn’t remove water from the cucumber with salt long enough. The spice raw crab didn’t have enough sauce and was not marinated enough. (The crab was fresh though). Overall 3/5.

My boyfriend and I were here on Friday night, which was their second day of opening. We were excited that a new kbbq place opened althought it was a bit far. We had a reservation at 8:00pm and arrived by 8:05. The atmosphere was nice and it was very spacious. After we sat down, we had to wait quite a while until a server approached us. We had to ask each time for a server to bring us water, utensils, complementary rice and stew, and something to cook our meat. The wine glass they brought us was dirty and the server left the wet utensils on the table and not on the napkin, which seemed unsanitary. On top of that, our grill wasn’t working and we had to wait about 20 mins for two servers, and then the owner to come and fix the grill. We were starting to run out of patience as it was 8:50pm by the time we started to cook our meat. We had to speak with the server and the owner. The owner apologized and brought us a free bottle of soju and jangajji, saying that he is trying his best. The owner was non-Korean, and as Koreans we were grateful and impressed as the menu and the atmosphere showed great interest in Korean food and culture. Most of the servers were nice as well, but there was a significant lack of system and organization. Servers were not assigned to tables and were just working together and it seemed like there should be at least twice the number of servers for the space and number of customers. It did not make sense to us that we had to call, wait, and ask for most basic things like water and utensils, and that we were left unattended for so long. It was to be honest, a disaster. In terms of the food, the pork jowl and pork belly were pretty good, but portions were small compared to other Kbbq places, while the price was on the higher end. The free beef that was given as promotion was below our expectations. It was very tough and unseasoned. The marinated crab was also below expectations and different from what we get in Korea or other Korean restaurants. It was a few small crabs and not worth $24. The complementary side dishes and stew were mostly good, especially the jangajji, but the green onion salad was a no. We usually love green onion salads but this one was not what we expected. The price we paid was not bad with the promotions and the tax break. The tip options were quite low, with the max being 18% so I manually gave 20% tip as the servers seemed to be having a hard time. Overall, we would not be going back unless there is a significant improvement in the system.

First time to try the Korean bbq with 3-stage aging. The meats were surprisingly tender and tasty! Pork belly and picanha beef are so good and must try! And if you’d like drink wine with your meat, this is the place! Also wanna mention amazing Korean soup and stew as well. It’s a thumbs up and recommended for me 👍
