This was our second visit within a month and we already have next weekend booked! Why? The atmosphere, the food, the staff, and the music was outstanding! Don’t let the rustic bar look fool you, the food and service is up there with fine dining restaurants. Heather, Jordan and the entire staff were beyond exceptional. They emulate true customer service in the restaurant industry which seems to be a lost art in most places. Their food specials are well thought out and offer choices for all taste buds. The night got better with some music from a local band, Pink Leather Jackets. The party was rocking! Go check this place out!

Flavourful food with good discounts depending on the day of the week. Standard menu selection, standard service. Comfortable bathrooms with generous stalls; no need to wait any lines during busy nights. Comfortable booth seats with warm, rustic lighting. Not overwhelming, quiet TVs.

We ordered almost 100.00 dollars worth of food tonight for the first time. The potato skins and jalapeños are burnt and the shepherds pie what is that you sent me? Maybe 2 tablespoons of potatoes for 20.00 really? I'm so angry with this order I will ensure we don't eat there again nor do any family members. 100 dollars for food I will not even feed to my animals. I'm sorry butnwhat a horrible 1st impression. At least the ice tea was cold

This is a great traditional pub in downtown Newmarket. The food is great, we shared the chicken club sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is laid back with many locals enjoying their favorite libation. It also caterers to families. Nice little spot to have lunch or dinner.

Our go-to spot after weekend rides! 🚴🏽♀️😎 Located right in the heart of Newmarket’s downtown Main Street, the Olde Village Free House (OVFH) boasts a vast menu of brunch, lunch and dinner options. The staff have always been super bubbly and friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. Pictured below 📸: ☞ Buffalo chicken wrap w. side Greek salad 🐓🥗 ☞ Western breakfast sandwich w. home fries 🥪🤠 ☞ Eggs, bacon, sausage & home fries 🍳🥓 The OVFH also has some great live bands on Sat nights where you can rock out and dance the night away 🕺🏼🪩🎸 Can’t wait to come back on a Sunday eve to try the Roast dinner 🤤🤤🤤

We had an absolutely fantastic evening with our beloved family at Olde Village Free House! Let me tell you, the food was out of this world. I mean, seriously, the steak sandwich was to die for. The steak itself was so incredibly delicious, it melted in my mouth. I can't even begin to describe how amazing the whole experience was. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!

Had a great evening with friends at the Old Village. This place has great vibes and the patrons were all having a good time. Our server was attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent. The band playing that evening kept us all entertained and grooving. Can get really loud in there! Overall a great experience - will definitely go back for more!!

It was a pleasant surprise, indeed! We were strolling around Main Street and entering to this place was totally worth it! I had the Bone-In Pork Chop from the daily specials menu...and it was mouth-watering...cooked to perfection. My friends had the stir fried rice with beef and the liver with mashed potatoes on the side. Everything was delicious. Reasonably priced too!
