It's sad to see so many negative reviews for this establishment. The service is EUROPEAN like the restaurant and people in it. No fake smiles, no nametags and no one asking you how's the food while your mouth is full. Also, no one cares if they charge for still water and don't offer tap. It's called having a standard and NOT a ''scam'' as people suggest. Its part of the experience, of which apparently few people can understand in this city. Lastly and more importantly, the food is one of the most authentic Italian I've had in Toronto. A hidden gem to say the least. To put it simply, you pay for what you get. If you cannot understand what I am underlying here then you shouldn't visit. Go eat a hot dog and you'll be much happier.

The decor is nice. I expected more from the place based on the decor and reviews. The place has full service restaurant prices but services like a cafe. I was surprised that tap water is not provided, just bottles of water starting at $6.50. I think tap water should be offered in all eating establishments operating as a restaurant (it is not a fast food location). Servers place your items (plates of food) down and leave, no one checks in with you unless you flag them down. The cooks also change ingredients on the menu items without telling you. When questioned, the server said “meh” and shrugged his shoulders, when I said “that’s disappointing “ regarding a relevant ingredient to the flavour profile of the dish. I would not recommend this place nor will we return. There are too many other places offering better service and food. Also best to preview the menu before you go as it is a small menu with limited to no options for people with dietary restrictions.

The best coffee drinks really good espresso! Food is good but on the pricey side. The service could be better, very slow. This restaurant does not offer tap water which is really strange. When you ask for water they bring a bottle and charge $5.00. Would not rush back.

We were supposed to go to the location downtown but switched last minute to avoid Taylor Swift chaos and decided to give this location a try. Was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was after reading the reviews before coming. The restaurant was very nice food and service was amazing. We will definitely be back. Had the calamari, Americana pizza, and the cappelletti burrata. Delicious

Eaten here several times and it’s been good. Ordered a margarita pizza this evening and it was all sauce. Real let down this time. Was hoping for better.

This was the second time here. We came on my birthday for brunch. The cafe is tucked away in the middle of an industrial area near yorkdale mall. The food was great, I ordered their pancakes again for the kids (forgot to take a pic) along with other brunch meals. Prices are on the higher end, but it was fresh. My Fiancée and son enjoyed their sandwiches. Service could be better. We shouldn't have to ask for water or plates.

The food was above decent but nothing exquisitely special. We came with no expectations but the menu is over valued and above price expectations for the taste and service of this caffe. The decoration of the place looks nice but that’s about it. The croissants aren’t fresh. Service is horrible. They don’t serve any kind of water unless you pay for bottle water. It also took forever to order, to get our order, and to even pay. Server also forgot our dessert but we just wanted to leave at that point. I’ve attached a photo of what it looked like when we were there, there were barely people to serve, it wasn’t busy, no excuse for the terrible service.

Great place that is not very obvious from the outside. It’s located away from a main road and is large inside with lots of seating available. Went on a weekday night for dinner. The food and service were great. Seating for all sizes of parties and the setting was really romantic and moody which made it comfortable. Lots of parking around. Would come back again!
