My family organized my 70th birthday lunch at Mexico Lindo. The staff was amazing- attentive but not hovering. The food was fabulous and authentic Mexican fare. We had an incredible time there and when dessert came, they sang Happy Birthday while I wore a sombrero and blew out my candle. We had so much fun! We'll definitely be back.

Food was the absolute worst I’ve had anywhere. We both got enchiladas. Obviously old and reheated. Rice in clumps. Beans from a can. Plate so hot from the microwave. It hit our table in less than 5 minutes. We were there for a total of 15 minutes. The whole time they were vacuuming in the same spot while just chatting it up. Gave up on the food. So bad. Service was alright. They didn’t have a chance to come back really. The complimentary chips and salsa was a tell to start. Store bought chips refried and drenched in oil. Salsa was atrocious. My wife’s sprite was the best part of the meal. Never again.

Both my husband and I got the enchiladas. He got beef, I got chicken. You could tell right away that it was reheated food. The rice was clumpy, the plate was scorching hot and the beans had a sort of film on it (You can tell the beans just come from a can). Plus, we sat down at 4:06 PM and our food was brought to us within 10 minutes. There’s no way you make all that food fresh in 10 minutes. There was no one there because it’s obviously an odd time but we were heading downtown so we wanted to catch an early bite. One of the ladies just vacuumed the whole time we were there which was very annoying to listen to. Nobody came by to see how our food was or ask if everything was OK or if we could use anything else. I didn’t have a napkin because the only napkin I was given I had to use for the salsa that spilled. Also, the salsa looked like it was strained - There may have been a total of two tiny pieces of onion so I don’t know if we got the bottom of a canned salsa or if that’s just how they make it. But it was a very lackluster, very bland salsa. The chips tasted like they were purchased in a store, greased up, and then fried. The complementary salsa and chips were pretty gross overall. All in all very disappointing because it’s just down the street from us and we’ve been looking forward to trying it since we moved here.

Have been here a couple times before but have never left a review. This is some fantastic Mexican food in Whitby! So good in fact that I forgot to snap a photo of my meal, and the churros we got for dessert. The staff is great! Super friendly and attentive to your order. The food comes quickly even when the place is packed. I had the pepper steak and it was phenomenal. The cream pepper sauce is perfect and they had so much on the plate I was able to mix my rice into the sauce and not have any go to waste. Clean plate club for sure!

Mmmmm AMAZING little spot. The food was so good, just like being in Mexico again! The staff were super courteous. I loved the way they decorated the restaurant. There's an authentic feeling and a really great vibe. Everyone was really nice and the cashier was especially warm. Me encanta la comedia!

Wonderful authentic food!! Service was so friendly and professional. Food was fresh and screamed Mexico!! Don’t look elsewhere in Durham. This is your Mexican place! Music made you feel you were in Mexico!

My wife and I love Mexican food and been wanting to visit this place for the longest time. They have rich Mexican flavours and food tastes good, I wasn’t happy with the chicken(the meat was a little tough and chewy). They are a little on the expensive side & portions are ok. Margaritas are great! Must try the fried ice cream:-) My wife loved the veg burrito but felt the portion was small and wasn’t filling.

What we ordered at the restaurant was delicious! Unfortunately, the service was unsatisfactory. Please make sure the waiters serve customers well and don't start hovering around them after 30 minutes in the restaurant. Let the customer have a good experience, allowing them to eat well and take their time. It's completely disrespectful to be rushed out when the restaurant isn't even full.
