Takeout gyros and salad. Food too bland. Needs more spices. Salt. Garlic. Otherwise generous portions. Friendly service. Great location.

Food:3.5. Service: 4.5. Atmosphere:4. Food came in great portion and staff was friendly. Chicken souvlaki was our favorite, tender and marinated well. Lamb and beef gyro was a bit disappointing, felt like meat served in the same plate were not cooked evenly. Some over cooked and some not cooked well enough. Greek salad was in a big portion as well.

Amazing food and respectful service at Messinis! This is now my favorite Greek Restaurant! Visited this restaurant during the early hours on a weekday and experienced no hassle or wait times. Service was quick and easy, servers were attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious! We ordered a 2 meal combo special containing 2 entrees and 1 side, and the portions were massive! The chicken gyro was delicious as well as the potatoes, which can be upgraded into greek fries. Overall amazing experience, will be back!

The staff and service were excellent, and the dishes were very generous. We loved the roasted potatoes and the salad. However, the main disappointment was the meat. We double-checked with the staff, and it seems that a burnt, chewy gyro is considered normal here. We initially thought it was a mistake, but it appears that this is the standard quality of the meat – burnt and chewy.

This place never fails us. Excellent value for the food. We had the combo chicken and pork gyros, greek potatoes, and wine. This comes with a generous Greek salad as well. Friendly service with smiles. Won’t get tired of going

A filling and simple Mediterranean spot for Greek meals such as gyro wraps and rice dinners. Messini Authentic Gyros gets more popular with the late-night crowd of Greektown Toronto. Staff can be a little bit more organized as a side meal was forgotten despite telling them twice.

It was a wonderful experience, I loved the place, the speed and warmth of the service. They also have staff who speak Spanish in case you're worried about the language. cheap prices for the quality and quantity of dishes. I recommend it and believe me I'll be back because I love it.

Been here a bunch already, never got around to putting up a review, til now. I'll never forget my first Gyros here some years back during the taste of Danforth, and ever since, I'll always go and get one once in a while. The lamb/beef gyros is probably my favorite, and their Greek poutine is not only bangin, but it has some insane cheese pulls. On top of that the staff were super nice! 10/10
