Lone Star Texas Grill

Chicken Texas Quesadilla's tasted good. However, the toppings were barely enough to cover three of them. The beans are definitely not worth it. If you can switch them for something, I would because they tasted awful! I had ordered the Santa's Sleigh Flight as it looked like a fun tasting. I asked the waitress how it was, and she said it was popular. Two of them were extremely tasty, the third called the "Angry Elf" is extremely spicy and tasted horrible. It was too spicy to drink. Everyone at the table took a sip and didn't like it. I did ask to switch the drink as it made it very expensive for only two drinks, and they said, "No, we can't switch it and it says in the drink menu what the drinks are and what's in them." After looking in the drink menu, none of these three drinks were listed anywhere. If you are ordering a drink, ask questions about them so you aren't disappointed like I was. Another note, the prices have increased and the quantity has decreased. When getting the fajitas you used to be able to get extra toppings (salsa, sour cream, cheese, etc.), now they are an extra charge. The kids' meals are not worth the price, it looked like a small handful of fries and three chicken strips. This amount wouldn't be filling for any children over 5 years old. Someone at my table had the shrimp tacos and sent them back because the shrimp were cold and rubbery. The new ones that came out had bigger shrimps, was hot, and a thousand times better. Unfortunately, they were still hungry afterward. The staff were kind and polite. The atmosphere was quiet, which made it nice to talk to each other.

Although the food and service were very good, I could not give more than 2 stars. The stack of plates that were put on the table for the fajitas was dirty. Between the plates there was disgusting food. The plates were not washed. When I showed the wait staff, his reaction was genuine but there was no compensation given for this disgusting oversight. It could have been a real turn off for some people to the extent that their experience at this restaurant might have ended. This was my first visit to this restaurant and fortunately the food was very good. It was a family get together and a bill of over $230.00 but the disgustingly dirty dishes makes me not want to return. Sorry that comment is harsh but true!

First time here at Lone Star. The waitress was very nice and good service. The food wasn't great. The onions rings on the steak were soggy. The steak had no flavor what so ever and was quite tough. It felt as if I was eating old beef liver and the broccoli had significant amounts of yellow. The garlic mashed were mediocre, something you could probably get in a cafeteria, and again very little taste. I've driven by here so often and wanted to try it. Thank goodness you have great staff because really the service was the only thing that stood out as being good quality. Even the churros were over cooked. Needless to say, with the price of food today, there are so many other places that have much better food at that price point.

Fajita was phenomenal! And alligator tail bites? That was a first for us, but got us craving for some more! We truly enjoyed this experience, same said for those margaritas, just mind blowing... But our visit wouldn't have been the same with our wonderful server Alabama!

Super friendly attentive service. Thank you Georgia! Food is fresh and delicious. My Sante Fe salad was perfect. Fajitas are great with a generous portion of toppings and the soft flour tortillas. And of course the complimentary chips and salsa!!

I wasn’t going to give a lone star to lone star. Beans were cold and seemed like they came straight from a can. The slaw was just terrible. I wish they had any sort of bite or flavour. Bland slaw without a dash of vinegar. Not impressed. The ribs were actually not bad. Cooked well and fell off the bone beautifully. The fries were absurdly salty. Although they had a good crisp and texture, the extreme amounts of salt coating them really ruined the meal. The Oreo cheesecake for dessert was pretty good though. Cool and unique atmosphere to distract you from the insane wait times. This dinner was around 3 hours long which was completely absurd.

Had a bad experience my last visit but the manager Tequila definitely saved it. I called to tell her about what went wrong and she listened to everything I had to say and offered a remedy which I appreciated. Updated Review: originally I had called the restaurant and spoke to a manger after having a bad experience at this location. Food came out cold and server rang in the wrong item (order chicken tacos but got fish instead). She was professional enough and offered a gift card. Usually I wouldn’t care to go back but it was for my aunt. Left a good review at first based on Tequila, the manager, but never received the gift card via email like we were told about.
