Don't be discouraged by the casual nature of this restaurant. They consistently make some of the best Indian food in Toronto at a fraction of the price of anywhere else! The lamb curry is honestly some of the best I've ever had with succulent meat falling off of the bones. You can get it with rice or naan for $10.50 tax in. The everyday $6.99 biryani is also fragrant and perfectly balanced. They'll even offer you a little curry gravy on top for that extra layer of flavor! I should also note that the service is always fast and friendly. If you want delicious, authentic South Asian food, this is the spot to go to in downtown Toronto!

You don’t come here for the atmosphere, you come here for a HUGE plate of tasty food for a cheap price

What a gem! People are nice, portion is huge, and it’s so budget friendly! I tried lamb biriyani ($9.99 plus tax) today and was full already by only eating the meat. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommend!

Ok so I am basically rating this place based on the quality of the food and price. Keep in mind this is Toronto and I’ve seen places charge arm and leg for a tiny sandwich however this place give you a very large amount of plate of rice and two good portions of chicken for only $6.99. Definitely a hit with me on days that I don’t feel like making lunch. My to go to for sure!

Not a fancy place at all. Typically go there for take outs. Hands down they make the best lamb curry (on a bed of steamed white rice) in town! Besides, their chicken sheekh kebab is something to die for. Juiciest chicken sheekh kebab compared to all other South Asian restaurants in downtown Toronto. Plus super reasonably priced.

Had our Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant is clean, hygienic and not so busy. We ordered chicken biryani, garlic naan, and lamb curry. Lamb curry is excellent and I personally liked it a lot and would definitely recommend this to others too. Garlic naan is ok ok with very little garlic flavor. Chicken biryani is decent but the quantity is a lot for a very low price. Overall, this restaurant is a go-to place if you want to save some bucks for very good and tasty dishes.

Although it’s near the prime Yonge & Dundas intersection in downtown Toronto, this eatery offers very wallet friendly prices for big portions of food. With today’s ongoing inflation cannot go wrong with the Briyani served here at $5.99, that can easily fill 1 person. The gentleman that was working at the front on the long weekend Sunday evening, was more than friendly by offering us some gravy to be topped onto the Biryani rice. Overall, the 5 stars is for the amazing price and value for money, although the eatery’s general cleanliness may seem a little off putting. I already know where to eat if I am hungry in the area while on a budget.

Fair prices for excellent food, and generous portions. The chef is a highly experienced Bengali master and it shows through the complex but straightforward and clean tastes in his food. Stop here for a quick bite, or to feed a family. You will not be disappointed.
