If you like original Japanese sushi try this place. It is small family owned sushi restaurant. They don’t have tables but bars and upper chairs. So it is better to buy to take out the food if you like warm places because it could be a bit cool inside, to preserve the seafood fresh. They have the best Japanese sushi I have tried in Toronto so far and very tasty miso soup and poke bowls.

very well priced and of good quality. they are generous with the fish. best value for money, if you’re hosting a party, this is your place! we ordered 120 pieces, for $140 (tax and tip included) they have cash discount if you’re looking for savings, when i went it was 15% off.

We came in close to closing time and were not rushed out in any capacity they were very kind & the fish was very fresh and delicious! Amazing portion size and amazing service 10/10 recommend visiting here if you’re in the area.

This new sushi spot always hits the spot and was needed in the area (Cabbagetown). It's consistent and priced very fairly (especially their lunch deals). The service is always friendly and prompt. If you need a quick meal to go, definitely stop by and support this small business!

Our new favourite neighbourhood sushi place. Fresh and delicious, with lots of options. Plenty of cool house rolls that we'd never had before, so we're definitely going to be eating our way through the menu. And a cash discount for their grand opening!

I recently visited Kata Sushi and I must say, it left a great impression on me. Firstly, their service was great. The staff was friendly, and attentive. The quality of the food at this place was also great for a takeout. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The menu offered a variety of choices to cater to different tastes. Furthermore, the ambiance of this take out spot felt very comfortable. The decor was simple yet elegant, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Overall, I had a fantastic impression of Kata Sushi. They provide excellent food and ensuring easy and quick experience for customers. If you're a sushi enthusiast and happen to be in the vicinity, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Lovely wee spot and I wish it the ultimate success. I have gone several times since it opened for takeout. The fish is beautifully fresh, the prices are incredible reasonable, the staff are quite lovely. I highly recommend this place, if you are in the neighbourhood or live in the area

The new sushi place in town. Very much recommended! Very courteous customer service and fully supportive staff. The kitchen staff are very humble. Meat was very tender. Good portion of rice and the bowl of Customized order was very delicious. The staff also gave free salad container which was really delightful for me! My always go to place, at least once in two weeks :) hats off to the amazing taste. Keep it up
