If you're in the mood for some authentic Hyderabadi flavors, Hyderabad Cafe in Milton is definitely worth a visit! The food here is nothing short of delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Mutton Malai Paya Soup—creamy, rich, and absolutely divine. It lived up to its name and was truly finger-licking good. The soup’s smooth texture and melt-in-your-mouth mutton made it a standout! The Mutton Dum Biryani was another hit—aromatic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The spices were spot on, and the tender mutton added to the overall indulgence. However, the raita served alongside was a bit of a letdown, as it was just a thin liquid curd that didn’t complement the biryani as well as a thicker raita would. We also tried the Irani Chai, which was tasty, but had a bit of a thick, falooda-like consistency. It wasn’t exactly what we expected, and to be honest, it didn’t quite hit the mark for us. But, ‘double ka meetha’ was a bang on! Despite a few minor quirks, this place is absolutely worth every penny. The food is undeniably flavorful and truly captures the essence of Hyderabadi cuisine. Highly recommend it!

We tried their mutton ghee roast for starters, excellent cooked in their in house spices the mutton was nice and tender and perfect. For main course we tried their Andrea Chicken Curry another gem of a dish, definitely recommend. And don’t forget their Irani Chai at the end of the meal.

I am happy that Milton has a great spot like this tucked away on Mill St. The Masala Dosa which was fresh and the sauces added a nice touch. The special boneless chicken biryani with the gravy was also really good. We wanted the Dum Biryani but it was sold out so next time! The Mutton Paya Soup was delicious. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and excellent service . The decor is simple yet trendy . We ordered mutton malai paya soup and Karam kodi for starters and while I have had mutton paya several times before this creamier version was definitely a first for me and I think one of their best dishes. For mains we went with Hyderabad chicken dum biryani and cashew paneer biryani and both were cooked wonderfully. Portion sizes were good We ordered the double ka meetha for dessert and again flavours were well balanced The lady who served us ensured we had a delightful experience Thank you , will definitely visit again

This place takes time. Its a small place with a small crew so things aren't ready immediately. We got the shrimp fried rice and the ghee roast mutton biriyani as mutton Dum biriyani wasn't available. The rice portion size was good however the biriyani had 4-5 pieces out of which 3 were just bones and 2 were fat. For the price charged for the biriyani I hardly got a taste of the mutton. Both the dishes tasted good though. Fried rice tasted good and the shrimp tasted fresh and crunchy, the portion size was big too. Infact this is one of the nicest tasting hyderabadi biriyanis I have had in Canada. The biriyani saved the place otherwise I would give it a 3. Service and meat portion size however needs improvement.

First visit, and it was an ok meal for us. I tried a few different biryani, but the best and tasty biryani was chicken dum hyderabadi. I can't say much because it was just a regular taste like nothing special about the spot. Their patties are fresh and tasty, and the tea was not at all good. Being a Hyderabadi , I must say the food at Hyderabad cafe is really authentic Hyderabad taste. We went for dinner with family & kids on weekday. The service was quick, all items came on time. Veg manchuria & paneer biryani was good. Apollo fish , butter chicken , naans, chicken biryani were really good. We loved it. Finally irani chai was awesome, it tasted really like hyderabadi chai .. I guess the tea powder was from begum bazaar Hyderabad that made it really special. Will visit again.

We found a place for perfect Hyderabad or South Indian breakfast. Mysore bonda and Vada are nice. Sambar and Allam chutney was simply superb. This location resembles a vacation. Happy to visit once again. We went here twice and both times, we had good experience.
