It’s Okay. Maybe my expectations were hyped by all the positive reviews on social media, not as impressive. Portion is a little bit shy given the price.

Their portions are small compared to other Sichuan/Huanan restaurants. I ordered a stir-fried chicken, and I was barely able to meat there. Service was good though

I found this new opening restaurant last week when I dropped by at this plaza! A good friend came from the west yesterday and he loves the spicy food so we came to try for dinner. Very good atmosphere, fantastic food, awesome service! Cannot complain! Fried pork with green pepper is our favorite! The big piece of pork is yummy as well! A little bit disappointed about the fried beef because we could hardly find any beef! The beef was chopped into teeny weenie pieces. lol

Summary: VERY authentic Hunan Food, probably the most authentic one I’ve ever visited outside of China. Makes me homesick. High quality ingredients were used. Execution of the cooking process is on point for every dish we tried. Modern rustic decor that looks great in pictures. Braised Pork with Preserved Veggies: amazingly executed and made sure that the fresh pork had the perfect texture at the fat and the lean parts. The preserved veggie gives it a whole other dimension of aroma which elevates the whole dish. Not to mention the sauce at the bottom of the bowl that goes so well with white rice. 12/10. Stir fried chicken: brings me back instantly to a time where we’d visit a restaurant in the rural area where they had farm-to-table cooking mentality. They used fresh chilli peppers and if I recall correctly there were 3 types of them. Authentic ingredient + cooking method (straight up no bs stir fry). 10/10 Chicken feet: why did the chicken NOT cross the road? Cause I ate all of their feet. 9/10. Other food were also rad af. You won’t go wrong ordering them. Their food is not too greasy so I didn’t feel sick afterwards even after getting down a whole bowl of rice that hit me right into a food coma when I got home. What’s worth noting is that their tea is some real high quality stuff - I tried their cold pressed oolong and hot pu’er tea and loved them. They have another tea shop that does the procurement maybe that’s why they can ensure their tea is so nice. But if you order their lemon tea it’s also really nice - cold and refreshing, comes in handy when the heat of the food gets you sweating a bit. Overall I’d recommend this place for anyone who’d like to try out authentic and high quality Hunan food.

A genuine taste of Hunan cuisine. Had a dinner there for five dishes. They are not precooked so that taste very fresh. Highly recommended if you prefer spicy food but Not too much oil, not too salty. I like the chicken paws and pork belly most.

Great experience! A must-try if you like spicy food! I like chicken feet and steamed pork. I heard it takes a long time and effort to cook these dishes. That’s why they are so tasty!
