Saw this new store opening and thought we’d give it a try. The food is so authentic, love the yuzu marinated daikon. We ordered the 麵線 and 滷肉飯，they’re both so good. Some reviews previously mentioned slow service, we went there around noon, the service was friendly and fast.

Ordered takeout and it was ready within 10 minutes! The portion was definitely great for one person - I got the classic braised pork rice and it came with an egg! There were a lot of fatty pieces though, so an FYI for those that care. Will come back next time to try the popcorn chicken!

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine is now in the Markham area. It is the best Mi-Sua that tastes the same as in Taiwan. I recommended ordering a large portion because in the cold weather, usually North America people eat more. The place is clean and tidy and it is busy for dining time. The lanterns on the roof are hand-drawn. They speak Mandarin with Taiwanese accents that I feel warm and comfortable in this restaurant.

New Taiwanese restaurant at First Markham Place Plaza. It’s difficult to find good Taiwanese food in the GTA so was excited to check this place out. They opened just two weeks ago so there is a 10% discount at the moment. Service is decent, staff are friendly, a bit disorganized but understandable given they haven’t been open for very long. Decor is nice with the colourful lanterns. Menu items are limited, portions are small for the price. We ordered: 好呷滷肉飯 ＄7.99 Hoja Lo-Bah-Png Very little pork vs rice 肉羹麵線＄8.99 Mi-Sua with Tender Meat Strips Decent flavour, portion is small for the price 炸甜不辣 ＄6.99 Fried Tempura On the salty side and quite oily 塔香鹹酥雞 ＄8.99 Basil Salted Crispy Chicken I would not recommend the popcorn chicken as it is a large pre-cooked tray left under a heat lamp so it is cold, and not crispy.

What a Treat! Saw this new store opening and thought we’d give it a try. Thank goodness we did. The food is extremely well priced and authentic. I was transported back to Taiwan in the short time we dined in. The service was exceptional. Atmosphere was cozy. Even though reviews previously mentioned slow service, they must have taken that into account because the service was friendly and fast, food came out quickly, and even though it was full house with a line up, the table turnover was extremely quick and we only had to wait for 5 min. Really enjoyed the meal and dare I say one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in the City. A very welcoming addition to the food scene in GTA. A must try and definitely something I’ll be revisiting again soon!

The taste is really close to what I had in Taiwan. unlike bunch of people trying to make Taiwanese food with shitty ingredients, this is good shit :)The taste is good, the service is nice, and the price is reasonable. Please keep the quality and probably increase delivery speed.

Definitely the taste of Taiwan! Very authentic, good portion and reasonable price. Love the misua and the crispy braised pork rice. The shaved ice is also very yummy. Would definitely come back again to try other dishes!
