Dragon Pearl Buffet

I recently visited Dragon Pearl Buffet, and it was an amazing experience! As soon as you walk in, the authentic décor really sets the vibe. It’s got that traditional Chinese feel, making the whole place feel welcoming and cozy. The buffet had so many options, but the garlic chicken and Peking duck were definitely the highlights. The garlic chicken was super flavorful, tender, and just the right amount of garlic seriously, I could’ve eaten a whole plate of it. The Peking duck was awesome too, with crispy skin and juicy meat, plus the pancakes and hoisin sauce made it even better. Overall, everything was fresh and well-prepared, the staff kept things running smoothly, and some of the best Chinese food I've had. If you’re in the mood for a solid buffet with some really great dishes, Dragon Pearl is definitely worth checking out!

Four stars for food selection but the quality of some of the dishes was lacking. Grilled squid was cold even under a heat lamp. Milkfish sashimi was too watery. Peking duck was dry. Atmosphere was good which made the visit worthwhile.

The Dragon Pearl Buffet in Toronto is a popular spot for all-you-can-eat Chinese cuisine known for its vast selection of dishes, including sushi, dim sum, seafood, meats, vegetables, and desserts. I came here recently for their weekend holiday menu (available until January 5, 2025) which includes one half lobster tail per person (must present ticket to redeem), streamed scallops, and abalone, along with their usual items such as Peking duck, and prime roast. The overall quality of the food was ok, but varied depending on the dish. However, a buffet style meal made it easy to cater to a large group with varying palates. The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived on a Sunday evening so reservations are highly recommended. The staff here were all friendly and efficient. Note: they offer a 20% discount for seniors 65 and older

It's my first time eating at this restaurant and at first when we arrived it was subdued but after that it filled up really fast. There was a wide assortment of food which ranged from roast beef to lobster tail, roast duck to fresh made sushi. Some of the food was a little dry and tough but most of the seafood was delicious. Their fruit selection was limited as they only had honey dew melons, grape fruit and pineapple. However their salad section was breaming with an array of variety. Overall an amazing experience and the staff was quick to empty your plates. Each day is different as we ate on a Friday so each person only received half a lobster tail.

First of all, very fine dining aesthetic for an Asian cuisine Buffet restaurant. Every staffs here are super friendly, polite, and nice since everyone smile at you and say hi if you look at them. Service is top notch because they constantly give attentive care for me and my partner. Food wise, you have to try the Steak with Chimichuri once in your life, it’s so worthies. Their seafood really live up to the hype cause of the freshness and tenderness. Lastly, the manager Wang and server Lili are really helpful, cheerful, caring and friendly, definitely come back here because of them.

The food and service were awesome. When we came for my reservation we were pretty much seated right away. There were plenty of dishes to choose from and the line up of certain stations wasn't too bad. They had plenty of snow crab legs that never seemed to run out. Although the restaurant was booked solid they managed the crowd very well. Everyone was very happy with their meal and service the restaurant provided.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation around 6:20 PM and were informed that the wait time would be an hour and a half. After waiting until 8:00 PM, I approached the receptionist and was told, "I have no table for you because of all the people who made reservations. Maybe you should come another day." This was after waiting for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. It was a complete waste of time. Eventually, after waiting for 2 hours and 30 minutes, we were finally seated. I believe their reservation system needs to be improved, as many people with reservations were also waiting outside, and the inside was extremely crowded. Moving on to the food, overall it was not bad, but the main reason I went there was for the snow crab legs. However, they were so soft that the shell wouldn't crack but would peel off, and the meat stuck to it, making it difficult to eat and enjoy. On the positive side, I did enjoy the Peking duck and the fruits that were offered the most. Overall, it was not the AYCE experience.

I recently visited a food Dragon Pearl buffet and had an above-average experience. The restaurant had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including lots of meat options, main courses, and desserts. The food quality was good, with many dishes being freshly made and flavorful. The service was also great, with staff members being attentive and friendly. They constantly refilled our drinks and cleared our empty plates promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, as the buffet area was well-maintained and organized. Overall, I had a positive experience at this food buffet restaurant and would recommend it to others looking for a satisfying dining experience.
