Dos Coronas is an *Authentic Mexican* take out food trailer, located at the Whitby North Canadian Tire. This trailer is owned and operated by "The 2 Miguel's" - Father and son, both named Miguel Corona. Miguel SR has owned several Mexican restaurants, cooking delicious Mexican dishes, satisfying taste buds around the world. He was born and raised in Mexico City, and moved to Canada in his 20's. Where he now continues to cook along side his son, Miguel JR! This is where the name "DOS CORONAS" was born! The 2 had previously owned Miguel's Mexican Restaurant in Port Perry, and have now moved to Whitby. Dos Corona's is so very grateful to bring true Mexican food to Canada. Stopped in here based on the reviews however was let down. Feel like they were overpriced for Mexican and nothing tasted truly authentic in my opinion closer to the Los cabos I guess not a big fan. The guys are so friendly and great to deal with but overpriced and nothing was over the top. 3/5 ⭐️

Just like a taco should be. Fresh, tasty, affordable and served with a smile!! Miquel and his dad do an outstanding job from beginning to end. The corn tortilla have a silky smooth consistency and are just the right flavour. Solid. No falling apart. The meats are all truly authentic and my favorite was the chorizo with queso the winner. Passion shines through and I can’t wait until they have bricks and mortar so I can enjoy indoors. Well done. Wish I took more pics but it was too tasty to slow down!!

Don't think twice - just try Dos Coronas! Fresh ingredients, flavourful food, and authentic taste. I've had the tacos here twice and I cannot recommend this enough. Miguel and papa are amazing people and I feel lucky to have them in our neighbourhood serving this amazing food. Keep up the great work :)

I don’t know where to start except RUN don’t walk to this place. Unbelievably tasty. But let’s start with the experience. We were met by the owner and his father. Charisma and caring. The owner (I’m a jerk and didn’t get his name) was super friendly. I mentioned I didn’t love beans, and no sooner than when the words left my mouth was I presented with two chips with beans. “Not like mine” he says. Now regardless of the fact that the bean taste was amazing I struggle with the texture. That’s a “me” thing. My wife asked if he had mole sauce as it wasn’t on the menu. “Of course” he says. She ordered the enchilada meal, I ordered the burrito, two corns and taco trio because I wanted the full experience. It took a reasonable amount of time, and the whole time we had a great conversation. His dad’s from Mexico City, kids, plans etc. we got the food to go and brought it home. Amazing presentation. Everything was delicious. In Feb 2024 we were blessed with the opportunity to stay in Huatulco Mexico for a month. Dos Coronas food is not only authentic but somehow better than anything we ate there. The corn? Dos mío! Unreal. The sauces, the flavours. Can’t wait to go back. This little Canadian tire food truck is the full package. It’s 15/10.

Hands down the best Mexican place in Whitby/Oshawa. Food is fresh, tasty and satisfying. Dont forget their Diablo sauce - it's incredible!

Amazing Authentic Mexican Food! I just had to share how incredible this authentic Mexican food is! Seriously, it’s the best I’ve ever had, and that includes all my trips to Mexico. My family and I have been back a few times, and we can’t stop talking about how excited we are to go again! Flavour Explosion & Great Value: The flavours are out of this world, and the portions are great, all at amazing price points! If you’re looking for a place that serves up real Mexican goodness, this is it! Treats: A special mention goes to the dessert! My kids absolutely devoured the sopopias. It’s the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Overall: I’d give this place a solid 12/10! I can’t wait for them to open a sit-down restaurant one day. Don’t sleep on this spot—check it out!
