This location has amazing food and services. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Sahil was server during our last visit, he is very nice and friendly. Food quality is really good and worth the price. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic North Indian food. Highly recommend dishes: tandoori momos and kadhai paneer

Visited Desi Bar on a Friday evening, even with a hustle around the service was top notch Harnoon’s was our server and he provided us great service. Completed our request with lot of patience and understanding. Harnoon provided great suggestions on food and delivery. Perfect evening because of Bollywood karaoke and great service. Food was also very worth the price and taste. Thank you Desi Bar for great ambiance and hospitality.

I recently visited Desi Bar and Grill in Mississauga and had an amazing experience! The Cooker Wala Chicken was absolutely delicious — packed with great flavors and perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional, and "Meet", our server, really made the experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in a great atmosphere!

I had a great experience at Desi Bar and Grill. I ordered the Chicken Angara, which was cooked to perfection and the brownie, which was rich and delicious. The service was excellent as well - special thanks to Mr. Meet, who was polite, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

We visited Desi Bar & Grill on our way to Niagara from Toronto. An awesome stop for all desi food. Beautiful ambience good food, great service. Meet, our attendant was great and gave a personal touch to the service. We kept trying his recommendations till we could not take any more. My wife was more happy since 95% of the tracks being played were from her playlist. We highly recommend this place to couples as well as families. We had our 2 young boys with us too and atmosphere is family friendly.

I was in Toronto for a day and end up at this place for dinner .. It was a great experience especially with the ambiance and staff. Rubel (I hope I remember her name correctly ) was great at bar and I liked the old fashioned she made(Much different than I had back in US).. Choice of music was also great .. Food was good but found more on heavy side .. I should have mentioned to use less oil but this remind me my days in Punjab 20 years back .. Overall, good experience and highly recommended!!

We used to love this restaurant quite a bit, but all of our recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. We found a piece of hair in one of the appetizers. The restaurant did replace it but the second time around the dish tasted like it was not fresh. It was also not made according to the specific request we had provided the second time around. The hygiene seems to have gone for a toss based on our last few visits. Coming to the service – It is so slow that we watched our drinks sit on the bar counter for a good 20 mins before they were brought to our table. Same thing happened with the bill. After we had asked for the bill, our server came back 15 mins later to reconfirm that we just need the bill. The live music, although a nice touch, is deafening – It is so loud that it is impossible to enjoy the songs or food. I have to wear my noise cancelling headphones to not compromise my hearing. The restaurant should really re-evaluate their hygiene if not anything else.

We recently visited Desi Bar&Grill for dinner as a group of 11, intrigued by the 4.7 star rating and over 19,000 reviews online. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to those numbers. The evening started off well with appetizers, particularly the kebabs in the Goshtkhor and Shakahaari platters, which were flavorful and well-cooked. However, things took a turn as we moved to other dishes. The curries, like Sussex Murgh Changezi and Lamb Shank Nihari, Chicken Rascalla lacked depth and flavor, and the Pizza Kulcha and creamy chilli chicken were overwhelming with creaminess, leaving us uncomfortably full. The Shaadi Wale Chowmein was excessively oily, and the creamy dishes felt too heavy, making it hard to enjoy anything afterwards. While the kurkure spring rolls were fine, we struggled to finish most of the food and ended up leaving a lot behind. Disappointingly, the hyped-up review count online seems misleading, so make sure to check the actual content of those reviews before trusting the high rating, because when you start scrolling down, it ends and I don’t think it would reach at least 2000 reviews which is not even half of what they’re showing online, be smart to check the rating and content of the reviews prior. The service by Rubal was attentive and friendly, and she did her best to accommodate us, so this review is not a reflection on her excellent service, she was great and my rating and review is clearly for the disappointment in the food and taste and the fake hype. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and we wouldn’t recommend going based on the online ratings alone.
