Chicago Style Pizza

The stuffed pizza here is great and definitely something to recommend! Just a note for the people that eat vegetarian or halal, only the mozzarella cheese is fine, the cheddar used contains rennet which was confirmed by both Jennifer and Grace (manager). Absolutely great service by both of them and going to confirm the ingredients for us and letting us know of more to confirm if we would be able to consume it!

Wow what a warm friendly quality place to dine or take out. Limited seating, but the end result of the deep dish pizza once we got home to dig in - um you don’t need a dip. The flavour profile of the sauce is light and flavourful and delicious crust. The cheese and fresh ingredients make the pie the best I’ve tasted in a while. Thank you staff, my first experience was memorable for sure.

The pizza was just amazing. Love the tomato sauce and the freshness of the cheese. Definitely would go back to get some more. Truly a hidden gem Hamilton.

Solid chicago style deep dish pies. It's not traditional pizza and if you're a purist make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. But for what it is it's pretty solid. Portions are enormous. 2 small pies will easily feed 5 hungry people. It does take a bit to get ready but they do mention that upon ordering. The staff were nice and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Prices are very fair.

The Chicago style deep dish pizza that they’re so well known for is not for the feint of heart! It’s a massively thick, cheesy, heavy pie that easily serves 6 people! It’s very good, and if you like sausage in your pizza, you’ll enjoy their special. Our companions shared the Caesar salads that came with their pasta dinners. Salads were delicious. My favourite dish is their Stracciatella Italian egg soup. Be patient as your deep dish is going to take a while to cook, but is well worth the wait! Note: soda is served by the can. Wine menu is limited. The take out counter was one of the busiest I’ve seen on a Saturday evening although I prefer to eat this style of ‘za in house, immediately out of the oven. You can learn more about this Hamilton landmark on line, as this restaurant was featured on “You Gotta Eat Here”. It’s a very small venue that doesn’t accept reservations so there’s often a wait during busy times - be prepared.

Omg!! You want a Chicago style pizza in Southern Ontario .. you gotta go here. The food is amazing. Small place - make reservations. And all the other food choices look amazing! Fast and friendly service!

We enjoyed their 14” deep dish pizza. Our server warned us that it was big enough for 5-6 people. She wasn’t wrong - it was plenty big! The crust was crispy from the edges to the bottom. The sauce was delicious. They aren’t shy on the toppings. Also has lots of gooey stringy cheese. We started our meal with salad. The house made dressing was wonderful. Just the right amount of tang to it. We left room for dessert. Tiramisu and Black Forest cheese cake. Both were beautifully plated. It’s a busy spot so you may have to wait for a table - but well worth it.

We cannot recommend this place enough! It has a very comfortable atmosphere, like dining at home. Our server, Jennifer, was very kind, lighthearted, and very knowledgable about the menu and restaurant history. The prices of food and drinks are very reasonable. I've never had food like this before. Everything about the pizzas was perfect, appetizers were very reasonable, and desserts were clearly made in-house as well. We will definitely become regulars here.
