WOW! Is how I would describe my first time at Chiang Mai for dinner with friends. What a fantastic dining experience. Thanks to the staff working Monday December 23 who provided such friendly, fast service. Food, drinks and desserts were all delicious. I enjoyed the beef pad see ew, mango cocktail (the best ever), Thai iced tea & tiramisu dessert. Kudos to Marvin the bartender, server Nicole, the hostesses at the front and restaurant manager Vincent for the hospitality. Definitely recommend giving Chiang Mai a try if you’re in the area.

Today I visited Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant at York Mills, and it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was bursting with authentic Thai flavors and prepared to perfection. I especially loved Beef Pad Gra and Wagyu Dumplings and they were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy yet modern, and the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant to anyone looking for high-quality, authentic Thai food in Toronto. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Came for dinner on a Saturday night and we’re glad we made a reso. New spot in town, but easily some of the best Thai around. So many vegan/vegetarian options. No matter what you order, save room for the mango sticky rice!

Had a great lunch/brunch at the new location. The food was well presented and tasted extremely authentic. The server , Napa, was delightful. She engaged in conversation and provided insight into Thai culture. We had the Pad Thai ( loaded with shrimp), the Thai platter (chicken was seasoned perfectly) and the green curry. Appetizers - the fresh rolls, mango salad. Busier than was expected for lunch so glad that I made a reservation. All was wonderful!!!

What an absolute great Thai restaurant. The food and service were phenomenal. Even though they only opened up a month ago, you couldn’t tell as they were very welcoming/professional/conversation starters. The food was great, highly recommend the wagyu dumplings, the curry sauce they used on the base was delicious ! Will definitely be back :)

I had an amazing experience at this new location! I ordered the Shrimp Tom Yum Pad Thai & a mocktail - I felt like the portion was filling! The very sweet & attentive server, Pauly, noticed it was one of my best friend’s birthday & on her own accord, provided a cheesecake with a sparkler & candle for her! She surprised us all! We didn’t even ask and Pauly did that for us! She is honestly so sweet. Thanks Pauly!!! Would recommend this location to others!!

Chiang Mai in North York has quickly become one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Toronto! The food here is consistently delicious, with authentic flavors that replicate almost 70% the one I had in Thailand. Every dish is well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying – perfect for anyone who loves Thai cuisine. Especially they offer chili oil for someone like spicy kick in their food like me. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional, giving the place a cozy yet elegant feel. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. They are quick to answer questions about the menu, and ensure everything is just right throughout your visit. I recently dined here, and it was amazingly good! It was one of the best Authentic Thai food I had in Toronto. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, they were kind, friendly, and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better.
