Came here for lunch, quite a limited menu during lunch time - only pasta items available. Very slow for food to come out, even appetizers were slow. However, overall pastas were quite good, good taste and texture. Price was not too excessive. Seating was nice, spaced out, quiet. Not a huge fan of the Cara Cara coffee (mix of orange juice and espresso)

This turned out to be a hole in the wall kind of small unassuming gem of a restaurant that served authentic Italian cuisine at a fair price. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Lobster spaghetti. A hint of brininess reminded me of the freshness of the lobster meat served while the tangy freshly made spaghetti was a standout. Last but not the least, the Tiramisu exceeded all expectations with the creamy mascarpone filling paired perfectly with the expresso and cocoa powder. Highly recommended without reservations

We visited this small restaurant on a Friday night. It wasn't very busy. We ordered a Cara Cara Caffe and 2 appetizers, 3 pasta dishes and an octopus main. The coffee drink was quite special. The appetizers were pretty unique and not commonly found in other restaurants. The hand made pasta were excellent and they were much better than dry pasta. The octopus was tender. Their prices were right but the serving size was really small. The tiramisu was good.

I recently visited Caracara's new location, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious—simple yet so satisfying, evoking memories of comforting childhood flavors. The menu isn't overly complicated, but it truly delivers on taste. I highly recommend trying the pig ears, squid pasta, and the pasta with tomato sauce. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and a great value for the price. The decor of the new location is warm and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining. The staff was friendly and attentive, which only enhanced the overall experience. Whether you're looking for something nostalgic or simply a great meal, Caracara is worth the visit. Would definitely suggest it to all food lovers! Could be in the running for Richmondhill's best Italian restaurant. 👍

Great cozy restaurant with a well balanced portfolio and modern take on Italian cuisine. We went last Sunday which was still in its soft opening phase. The 4 of us ordered a variety of dishes and everything ranges from good to great! Some of our favourites include the pig ears, the grilled octopus, all the pastas and desserts. We could tell the chef puts lots of thoughts and efforts crafting each dish together. Some of the sauces were so delicious that we literally had the plate cleaned. For a new restaurant in its soft opening phase the service and timing for food are nothing to complain of. Price is very fair for the quality of food and service that they offer.

Visited during their soft opening, and one can see the passion and heart they put into the food. You can tell they’re striving to deliver a great dining experience, and it's always great to support local entrepreneurs who truly love what they do. It feels like this spot is aiming for above-average quality compared to others in the area. My food ranking reflects that slightly higher expectation. The food is very lovely overall with its price point, though I believe some dishes and the non-alcoholic beverage could use a bit of fine-tuning, in my humble opinion. Eg. The **Baccala Mantecato** was good but not yet remarkable. The **Bigoli con Ragu di Anatra** had great flavor, though could benefit from something to cut the heaviness of the pasta and ragu—perhaps just my personal preference. Happy to see this type of restaurant open in the neighborhood and wish them success! Will visit again.

All the food we ordered was great. Especially the grilled octopus which was cooked perfectly with some cherry tomatoes and potatoes. The sauce was appetising as well. Second favourite dish is the toast Italiano, not to sweet even with the Limoncello Syrup, perfect to share for 2 ppl. And the Mascarpone Ricolta Cream was definitely the highlight of the dish. The fried Italian rice balls are quite good as well. It was crispy on the outside and some creamy rice on the inside, what a good appetiser. However for the Tiramisu, I think it’s too sweet that I can barely taste the presence of espresso. And the layers can be made better as well.

Must have squid ink pasta. Cicheti is interesting concept, similar to tapas, can try more variety of dishes. My favourite is pizzelle crackers with liver mousse. Forgot to take a picture of the tart, the many components and layers offer a complex experience. It’s sweet and tart, creamy and crunchy, light and smoky. There’s also chunks of charred cara cara oranges inside the filling, no wonder it shares the name of the establishment.
