Had an amazing brunch experience at this viral restaurant on Portland. The exterior and interior is very French inspired. Loved the atmosphere and it wasn’t packed so it was a great pick for catching up with your girlfriends. My fave brunch dishes were the smoked Branzino & potato rosti and the banana brown butter pain perdu (French toast). Found the latte a bit on the higher end at $8 but overall the price points are great. Definitely coming back for dinner!

Tried making reservations here a few weeks in advance and nothing was available. It stated that they have limited reservations available and more available with a walk in. Walked in at 5:15pm and was seated in a high top table, all the other tables had reservations on them… a little misleading. Nonetheless we had a great experience. The food was good and our server was great. They have happy hour everyday from 5-7pm; half off martini’s. We went with dishes that were recommended due to popularity. They didn’t disappoint.

The food at Cafe Renee is very flavorful and the portions are huge. Really enjoyed my steak frites. Everyone else at my table also really enjoyed their food. The service was very quick and friendly. The only downside is that we had to sit in a very cramped area of the restaurant at a high top table instead of at a nice booth that you see in pictures...I would suggest going with at least 5 people to get the comfortable booth. The other tables are small and could barely fit our food

After passing by this restaurant a few times this month we decide to check it out. Beautiful Parisian interior with French and Italian offerings. Service was good, the restaurant seemed very busy and I felt the staff were overwhelmed, but the staff still delivered a great service and their hard work is noticeable. We ordered Lasagna Blanca which is made to order. Although it was runny and the meal was not as hot (temperature) as I like it to be, The flavour was very good. For dessert, we ordered fresh fruit pavola. Which was mostly meringue topped with mixed berries. The presentation was nice but I found it too sweet and this is coming from someone who has a sweet tooth. The staff was helpful and made sure we were satisfied. Clean and well-stocked bathrooms. Overall it was a good experience, we will return in future.

This spot definitely lived up to the hype! The atmosphere is gorgeous and I loved the vibe. The service was super attentive and kind. The food was also amazing! The ravioli was definitely the show stopper of the night and i also adored the cheese sticks. The branzino wasn’t my favourite because it was fried, I didn’t realize that’s how it would come when we ordered it, they’re usually grilled. Otherwise though, this was a fantastic meal!

I loved the atmosphere of the place. The interior was great, the music matched perfectly, and the servers were friendly. The food was good too, but the portions were small. Even two dishes weren’t enough for one person. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for Instagram. It’s worth visiting once, but not somewhere I’d go back to. If you’re into cute spots, this is definitely the place for you. However, if you’re looking to fill up, it might not be the best choice. The food was decent overall, but I didn’t feel it was worth the price.

I came here for my birthday with some friends back in August and really enjoyed my evening! Our server Jackson was warm, down to earth and super attentive. The mains and cocktails were delicious, and I would definitely come back! The only things that threw me off was how soft the chips were for the steak tartare, not sure if that’s how they are meant to be served or if they had just been sitting out in humid conditions and therefore were no longer crunchy/crispy once they reached our table. Regardless, our evening was perfect and I’m so glad I spend my birthday dinner here!

They call themselves an Italian-French fusion and they do neither of the two cuisines particularly well. They have a wonderful vibe and the service is great, but the food is mediocre at best. I was so excited to try the steak tartare but the whole thing just tasted of mustard. The pasta was dishes were okay. You can find much better pasta with more generous portions elsewhere in the city.
