Bardi's Steak House

Food was fine. Nothing special. Steak was tender. Service however was absolutely god awful. Sat for over 15 minutes before we received water. Waiter brought a cocktail over instead of a beer. After dinner we were there for over 20 MINUTES before I had to walk to the host and ask him to track down our waiter so we could get the bill. Would not return.

My wife and I were in Toronto for a corporate event and we walked into this downtown restaurant at 7:30 pm on a Saturday (Sept 28… open til 10pm) and asked for a table for 2. We were told to wait a moment by the lady at the front who appeared to be shocked at our request, and before she could take 2 steps this guy walks up to us (manager or owner I presume) and coldly told us “we are not accepting anymore guests tonight, we are full”… as I stood there staring at a half empty restaurant. We were obviously not welcome there. We do not recommend this arrogant restaurant.

Open since 1966 for a good reason. It's all what's a good steak house should be. Great, perfect steak with the best fries. Don't miss the onion rings.

Old school steakhouse! The prices are reasonable and the Bardi's Special was a fantastic steak! Go big or go home with this one!

I wanted to try a traditional steakhouse but Bardis was old school in all the wrong ways. The food was very underwhelming. Our salad was topped with bottled Kraft Italian dressing and our calamari was definitely those pre-cooked frozen ones restaurants just had to put in the deep fryer. The steak was not a great cut even though we get their most expensive one. The decor and ambiance was like walking into a steakhouse from the 70s, and nothing had been cleaned or updated since then. Even the washrooms which are in the basement smelled like wet carpet. With the city having tons of wonderful steakhouses, this is one of the last I'd recommend.

We came for my husbands birthday . The waiter and host Chris are fabulous . The food was excellent . The chowder was great as well as the chicken dinner. I Prefer bardis menu over barberians.

It's a little outdated inside but what a meal we had. Drinks food and service was all great. I had a 35oz steak and it was so delicious. My friends all had different cuts of meat not as big, they all really loved the food. 6 men 7 appetizers of course mains as well a bottle of wine many drinks. $200 a person including tip. We also had desert.

Amazing Service. Amazing Food. I think these unchanged old school restaurants are really sought after now . We had an amazing dining experience thanks to the staff, amazing food and wine. Highly recommend!!! Beautiful place
