Port Credit has a gem, and it’s this place—simply AMAZING! If you’re craving Indian cuisine that’s bursting with flavor, this is where you need to be. Hands down, the best in the area, with dishes so rich and vibrant you’ll savor every bite. And the prices? Absolutely reasonable for the incredible quality you’re getting. But it’s not just the food that shines. The staff are fantastic—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Pair that with expertly crafted drinks and an atmosphere that’s as inviting as the food is delicious, and you’ve got an experience worth coming back for again and again. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a masterpiece. Don’t miss it!

It is cool that here is an Indian restaurant that also specializes in drinks. They do have some interesting cocktails available, and they prepare it at the bar inside the place. Service was subpar. I find on many occasions that I had to wait to call out the attention of the server, who also seems to double as the bartender preparing the drinks. Food taste was standard Indian fare. What was bad was that our order of Haryali chicken came out undercooked. There was some visible redness and blood in the meat when they served it.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. It was our first time visiting this restaurant and we really enjoyed ourselves. Silvi, our waitress was really helpful. She recommended a dish for us that satisfied what we had in mind (originally we ordered something that wasn't suitable and she figured it out pretty quickly). Silvi was also very pleasant to talk to. With respect to the food, it was DELICIOUS! The portion sizes were perfect for us. I was too stuffed to have dessert and omg, the Mango Lassi drink was sooooo yummy.

I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Gobi Manchurian and Tandoori Momos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the texture was spot on. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The staff was also excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my visit. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Awara and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, little place with delicious food. The interior is pretty and the service is quick. We loved the starters Honey chilli potatoes and Gobi manchurian. Amongst the drinks. Awarapan was the best. The main course was great as well.

Not worth the price. We went on a Saturday evening to this place. The staff seemed over worked and tired most of the time. Considering a Saturday evening just keeping two people to serve was not a good idea. We had to wait at-least 45 mins to get a seating. After that we waited atleast 30 mins to get our starters. We had to then wait another 30 to get the food whereas we had already ordered the starters and main course together while we were waiting to be seated. We got the food the food was average. The food seemed fresh but taste 3/10. For the price the quantity also was not that good. Can do better with food. Felt bad for the staffed most of the time. There was one instant where one of the serves was carrying a tray of water and the other guy who was helping her out crashed into her and all the water fell on her. The guy did not say a sorry nor helped her. We wanted order ice cream which was not available. One of our friends asked for a second cup of tea which was denied. Also 18% gratuity was added because we were 8 people may be. Overall average serves, average food, music was too loud. Service was okay but could have better managed more.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to Awara. The cocktails and mocktails were beautiful and delicious. The food was rich and plentiful. Just the right spice level and amount. My kids devoured it. Definitely try the drink's, you will be impressed.

Review based on my experience and bias as of 26th May 2024. The restaurant is located a bit far from the hustling and bustling site of Port Credit. But it's worth the visit. The entire vibe and setup of the place are fabulous. Adding some pictures for references. Additionally, the staff was very attentive, polite, and very attentive to our needs. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I feel for food as per my senses, there is still scope for huge improvement. Firstly, we ordered Veg Tandoori Momo and Chicken tandoori. Tandoori was great, but momos were not at all good for us or our taste buds. Lastly, we did order customized chicken schezwan fried rice. The rice was cooked with briyani rice and had beans and corns in it. So we were a bit disappointed. Maybe in future visit, I will revise my review
