This is probably a 3.5/5 overall from me. The food is about average for a Markham dimsum restaurant - some dishes stood out, like their BBQ pork and the red rice wrapped shrimp rolls. The service is good once you’ve been seated, but their system of getting a table is very archaic and significantly detracts from the experience. Generally, they require you to stand there while you wait for your number to be called - this defeats the purpose of being in a mall, and in 2024, it is archaic to not leverage a text or any sort of technological queuing system. Overall, would not mind returning but also would not seek to come back.

Recently went to this new Chinese restaurant in Markville Mall. The place was very busy. The dining room is huge and fancy. They had a good selection of dim sum. Some of them were unique to this restaurant. The service was good as well. Will definitely come back.

Tried the BBQ takeout duck and pork. Prices are competitive and they serve large portions. However I think they save the best cuts of meat for dine in customers, as I received more fatty pieces and they didn't take the meat from the display case (i.e. it was meat already on the cutting table). The meat isn't as flavorful as other places, such as nearby Foody and Congee Queen. I'll have to try the dine in experience another time, when the restaurant is less busy.

Not a great place for dim sum. Decor is nice (probably since it just opened) but the food was disappointing. Every hot dish I got was warm at best, some even cool. The mango pudding and coffee jelly was nice though. Flavour for everything else was only ok. Not worth the wait-time and there are better dim sum spots elsewhere. I guess if you're at Markville already and just craving some dim sum this place could be ok but not satisfying. Also when I went it was really packed full of people and the waitresses kept bumping into and pushing us while we were sitting down eating.

Considering I went at noon on Christmas day and only had to wait 35mins for a party of 4, wait time is not bad! Staff were friendly, and the service was great. We prefilled our order while waiting in line, and food was delivered at a reasonable time after our order was submitted. What caught me by surprise was they used melamine plates instead of the usual porcelain... but seeing how a staff tossed those plates while setting up our table, it made sense. The dim sums are alright - delicious but nothing out of the ordinary. They had a hiccup with one of the orders, but that was rectified by one of the managers. The restaurant looks elegant, has high ceilings and is very spacious - perfect for banquets and weddings. Price wise, it's above average... not too bad unless you visit on a weekly basis. I had a great time having dim sum here with my family. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food was fabulous. Been here for dinner twice now. Both times everything was fresh, tasty, and quality ingredients. A lot of the ratings below comment on the dim sum and slow service but it’s likely related to the extremely busy holiday period and new opening effect. Service aside, highly recommend and can only imagine it getting better once it slows down. Char Siu is a must try.

This restaurant opens at 9:00am! Not 9:30am, which is the mall opening time. Staff were very disorganized and chaotic when assigning tables. For my family of 4, they gave us a 7 person table. Dim sum was not bad. $5.50/small and no weekday/weekend/early discount. The roast pork and duck on display near the mall entrance side didn't look fresh just by looking at the skin. Ambient was very nice though. Huge open space. Tried once, but not again.

Went there for dinner today. Service was poor and very slow. Staff were disorganized and unresponsive. Food was expensive and underwhelming. We ordered Peking duck 2 ways, suckling pig and fish. The Peking duck wrap was thick and doughy, the suckling pig was not crispy and poorly cut, and the fish was undercooked and inedible. Will definitely not come again.
